I ordered a Wifi mesh system which should have been delivered by the end of the next week; it still hadn't made it to Royal Mail. You cannot speak to anybody or webchat and just get referred to Royal Mail's website. I tried cancelling it online but got a generic response saying sorry but because we are processing the order (11 days by now) we won' cancel it. I then put in a dispute through Paypal and finally got a response saying that I should get it the following week (but don't reply to this email as it is not monitored WTF ) It finally did come a week later but I wasn't impressed. Service only happens when things go wrong, with Currys there is no service. I will never use Currys again.

Awful. Ordered a tumble drier, they took the money and one month later we've heard nothing. Massive customer service queues so struggling to get through by phone or internet. Wish we'd bought elsewhere, will never buy from them again.

If you want to return item bought online and paid for by PayPal be careful! Curry's will screw you big time. They made it deliberately difficult to return the item. You must first fill in online form which is well hidden away on their website. Then wait for return request be accepted, only then you will get a confirmation and collection number. In email it says you must provide address but NO instructions as to what is delivery address. So they tell you to send it but they don't tell you where. IDIOTS. Well I used web chat feature and asked assistant to tell me what is the delivery address for return. They didn't know. I called their Know How helpline and they told me DPD driver will pick up item and he doesn't need address label - essentially contradicting instructions what was send in the email! So their staff has NO CLUE. Then DPD driver turned up few days later without label! Guess what. DPD driver refused to collect item because he says that I failed to provide address!!! Item unable to be returned because Curry's staff is incompetent, unable to provide clear instructions, their staff contradicts each other. It's a mess. No wonder bad reviews! Stay AWAY!!!

Avoid like the plague! Placed an online order for 2 x Samsung Galaxy Tablets and 3 x Samsung phones for delivery on Monday 30th November to the value of £1,162.97. We received the delivery which only contained 1 x Samsung Galaxy Tablet. We contacted Curry’s via phone regarding the missing items and they initially advised that we should approach DPD direct. Refusing to accept this, we persisted with the agent and they raised a ‘LIT’ (Lost In Transit). We were advised we would have to wait 14 days for an investigation to be carried out. On the 10th December we received an email requesting us to complete a document that was attached to that email. It was titled ‘Denial of Receipt’. This form ask you to confirm that you never received your full order, that the parcel packaging wasn’t damaged and that we would be happy to involved the police. We completed the form the same day and emailed it back along with photos of the parcel packaging and the one item we received. On the 15th December we received the following email: - “We understand that you have reported the non-receipt of the Products from Currys PC World. An investigation has been undertaken in regard to this claim which takes into account the information you have provided through the Denial of Receipt form, an internal investigation within our warehouse and with the courier DPD as the parcel travelled through their network. The completed Denial of Receipt form indicated that the parcel was delivered in a fully sealed Packaging, with no signs of any tampering. During the picking stage the product was weighed where there were no discrepancies found in this instance. We obtained CCTV footage of the parcel being processed through our Warehouse and the findings show the parcel was packed without issue. We contacted DPD who have provided us with images of the parcel showing no signs of damage. After due consideration of all evidence, we are content that this parcel was dispatched and delivered with no evidence of tampering therefore, will be unable to assist you further with this claim” Needless to say that we emailed straight back and stated that we are not accepting this and dispute their decision. We also decided to phone customer services on the same day (15th December still) and spoke with an agent called Sino. Sino advised that they would raise another ‘LIT’ (Lost In Transit). We refused this and requested that they escalate the case. We wanted to speak to a manager / supervisor but apparently nobody was available. The agent advised that we would be contacted by Curry’s within 24 to 48 hours and provided an escalation case reference number. On the 17th December after 48 hours had passed, we hadn’t heard from Curry’s so we phoned again. This time we spoke with Hasniar who advised that the original case number provided by Sino hadn’t in fact been raised. Hasniar advised that they had now raised this and that we should wait another 48 hours for Curry’s to contact us. I should mention at this point, that we had visited our local store twice in the middle of all of this and unfortunately both times they advised that they couldn’t help. They weren’t allowed to hand out telephone numbers of managers / supervisors and they confirmed that a dedicated customer complaints department didn’t exist. On the 18th of December, we had a lightbulb moment. After trying to convince the store that the packaging the 1 x Samsung Galaxy Tab had arrived in, wouldn’t be larger enough to fit the remaining items, we decided to check tracking on DPD’s website to see if he courier had taken a photo of the parcel at our delivery address as proof of delivery. Needless to say, there was a photo of our parcel in crystal clear imagery that showed the outline of 1 x tablet only. This was the evidence we needed to prove we only received part of our order. We decided to phone Curry’s again. We explained everything to another agent (failed to get the name in this instance) and the agent put us on hold whilst she reviewed the notes on the case. The agent came back on the call and agreed that the parcel was too small and clearly showed only 1 x item through the packaging (the outline of 1 x box was clear to see). The agent advised that they would contact the relevant department to look into it. We refused at this point to be fobbed off again and requested to speak to a manager or supervisor. The agent explained that we’re all busy but that it would be sent to back office for review. Again we refused this and requested to speak to back office. We waited on hold for 20mons before being disconnected. At this point it’s safe to say that we are completely exasperated and exhausted at our attempt to resolve what should be a fairly straight forward delivery issue. So yet again, we decided to visit the local store for a third time. The customer services agent in store reviewed the information including the proof of delivery photo that showed only 1 x item through the packaging. The agent agreed straight away that is an open and shut case and should’ve been resolved by now. The agent phoned their internal telephone number to their online order team and quite bluntly said “It’s clear only one item has been delivered, there’s proof in front of me. Why hasn’t it been resolved and why have you closed the case despite the customer having not received their items”. After coming off the phone, the customer services agent advised that they sympathise with us entirely however they were unable to do anything in store and that we would have to wait another 14 days whilst they re-opened the investigation. So here we are 18 days on from when this began, being told we would need to wait another 14 days (so 30 in total) until we would hear the result of their decision DESPITE having clear EVIDENCE. We are currently out of pocket to the sum of £793.97 - We don’t dare purchase the items elsewhere in case Curry’s decide to send the missing items out instead of offering a refund. We are between a rock and hard place. We have opened a case through resolver but it has advised that we need to wait for 30 days until we can escalate the case further through them. The total lack of customer service, breach of contract and disregard for consumer rights is, to be quite frank, shocking. How can a retailer in this day and age, which is a household name and has a large physical presence in our towns and cities, get away with trading in this manner? We still do not have a resolution and the way they have handled this situation will prevent us purchasing anything from them in the future. Just think, if this is how they handle delivery issues, what must they be like to deal with on warranty and faulty goods. Curry’s are an absolute shambles - spread the word!

Currys will fraudolently sell items that are out of stock. I bought a vacuum cleaner online last week with the site informing me that the item would be delivered by this Friday. This was confirmed in the receipt. After 4 days I was alarmed in not receiving a dispatch confirmation and tracking number. So I contacted customer service. Only then, and only after my inquiry, I was told the item is out of stock and they could not give me a date for when it can be back in stock. This is incredibly poor treatment of customers, withdrawing information, and not giving a timeline for when an item that has been charged, will be consigned. I am wondering when they intended to tell me if I didn't ask? And what does it mean that they cannot tell me when it will be back in stock? So could it be in 6 months? or perhaps never? This is very very close to fraudolent behaviour and I would like to warn everyone not to buy any product from Currys online. Even if they give you a delivery date on the webpage, that is a fake. You may pay and basically then it's up to them when you will ever receive your purchase. Go to the shop instead, or purchase somewhere reliable.

Brought a TV in the black Friday deals, contacted Currys as i had no delivery date confirmed, told due to an error on their part i need to cancel my order and re-order at full price. Even though on BBC news website it said that the firm are letting their customer service team know that they need to honour Black friday prices. But on the live Chat he was not helping me out at all and said to cancel and re-buy was my only option for full price. What is even worse is that the TV in in Stock, i can not get my head around it, i knew i should of Brought from John Lewis, Lesson learnt, i will never buy from Currys again.

They have faulty payment system and they just keep on using it. I have been charged 2 times for the same item. There was fault during payment , i have been asked to make payment again, i was assured that 1st try did not go through , assured by sales person and manager. I was astonished when find out at home when checking my account that payment went through . My account was charged 2 times. Went back to shop ( 20 min drive ) had to stay in queue another 40 minutes because this is costumer service matter and was told i will get refund in 7 days. This is crazy, why i need to wait 7 days, i am lucky this was only 60£ this could be 350 or 400 and it would be treated same way, wait 7 days for refund . This would effect my spending on my family during Christmas , but Currys dont care, wait 7 days and if you lucky you get money back

I ordered a mobile phone Motoral -Moto G8 Power Lite -64 GB , Royal Blue from Currys on 6/12/2020 , I've paid for next day delivery and I was told by the staff member that the delivery will be Monday 7/12/2020. However, I didn't receive my order after waiting all day. I phoned DPD and I've been advised this: " We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel". Also , I contacted Currys customer service , waiting approximately 15-20 min , and spoke with a lady who told me that there is a delay and should be delivered tomorrow. I requested a refund for the delivery fee I've paid for next working day but I didn't receive it and I didn't get any email so I'm really disappointed . I can't contact this company and ask for refund. Please do not buy anything from Currys they will steal your money and will never deliver your item . PS. Thank you Currys for destroyed my Christmas.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Missing order and it is near impossible to speak to someone to get a refund. Webchat leaves you on hold for hours then kicks you off. Promised money back and advisor did nothing to cancel order so still waiting.

So not only did my order not arrive, I am now being told the refund I requested wasn't processed on the date I was initially informed but it takes 72 hours to receive an email confirmation of cancellation. I have chased this confirmation as it's been over 72 hours to be told I need to wait a further 24-48 for confirmation of cancellation! Currys your are joke. You were happy to take my money for an item and next day delivery yet were unable to provide the service, and now I am having to chase my refund! I am without my item and my money. Surely this is theft?? I would strongly advise against using Currys, they are not only liars but also thieves!!!!

It is apparent Currys are indulging in a scam involving installation of appliances, especially cookers. They portray themselves as having fully qualified engineers to undertake such jobs but on the day of delivery the chaps who deliver are often not qualified and so starts the painful process of either contacting customer services to arrange another visit or asking for a refund. Avoid at all costs any installation purchases if you are brave enough to buy from this dishonest company. In fact take my advice and avoid this company altogether for the sake of your wallet and mental state. It really is not worth it.

This is the first bad review I've ever written, but it's deserved. Received a faulty laptop so I sent it to get fixed (after waiting 2 hours on hold). The freezing problem persisted so I asked for a refund (after waiting 1 hour on hold). I then purchased another top-of-the-range laptop for £1200 with the refund. Once again, it was faulty. So I asked to trade it in for a new one (after 1.5 hours on hold). I was told it would take 2 weeks before I would get the new one. I was unable to wait this long as I use the laptop for work, so I got yet another refund and bought yet another new laptop. Thankfully, this laptop is working fine, but the refund is £80 short - great! I called them up and after 45 mins of waiting on hold and told them the problem. The phone cut off so I had to call them again and wait yet another 45 mins. I tell them the refund is short and they said they'd send the £80 over. A week later I check my account to find they have refunded me just £80 for the £1200 laptop! Absolute joke. I will now have to call currys, wait on hold for God knows how long, and tell them they owe me £1120. I feel like I might have to spend the rest of my life on hold to currys. Useless.

My review is in respect of your none existent customer services. The impossibility of speaking to anyone to gain help. A phone line which cuts you off despite taking you through umpteen select options and a social media service that does not respond. Currys is hiding behind the 'covid' situation for not providing customer services. My problem relates to a cooker i ordered for my 93 year old father who could simply not cope with your incompetence. Shameful currys.
