This company customer service is sending to people fraud/scam emails. I brought a computer and my son did not want it because it does not had a card so i decide to returned. they told me to wait around 30 days to get the return money back. I have almost 3 months and I still not get my money back instead I got scam/fraud emails saying that my money was deposited in my bank account which was not true so, I was keep calling the customer service and I still getting messages with fake recipes saying that the amount of money was deposited in my account. amount of money that was not even the amount of the computer I brought. I talk with around 5 different people of customer service, and all of them sending emails saying that the problem was resulted but not. I still waiting for my money return into my bank account and my child almost finish his school without computer. really how can a good company send fraud/scam emails to their clients. I do have proof of all the mails, people of customer service who sent those recipe. I do not recommending anymore this company to anyone instead be aware because their are people who can still you information and do bad things to you like they did with me when they send fake recipe of computers that I never brought or those scam/fraud emails saying that they returned the money when is not true.

I got a lots of fraud/scam smails telling me that they deposited the amount to my account but was not true. That was no even my computer amount. I cannot believe that a good company can send scam/ fraude9email to their clients and not give the return at time. My son was need the money to buy other computer since he was need to using it in the high school. My son school is almost ending and not returned money back. I am completely upset with dell technology service. I will have to call the police because I have copy of those scams emails and probably demanding the company for the bad service and not returning the money. So sad, complete sad

My Dell laptop (XPS 13 7390) has been returned 3 times to Dell for repair of the same issue. The issue is that the screen is completely black and I'm not able to access anything. I've been through all the troubleshooting and the result is to mail it to Dell for repair. This 3rd time, I lost everything that was on my computer. I've written books, have a business and all my data was lost with this last service. Everything gone. It sucks. I would never, ever trust a Dell computer again. In addition, my laptop will be returned AGAIN to Dell because when I opened it from this last return, it had three dings on the outer case and a chip in the side of it. This laptop has been in Dell service repair the same amount of time as I've had it. Trash computer.

Worst experience with Dell support team, they are incompetent in resolving the issues. They have only one solution for all the problems is to upgrade the software even If it is an Hardware issue. Please don't buy Dell products.

ok....my laptop is out of warranty., but my problem is that I cannot redistribute partition space because seemingly the partitions are encrypted. Nothing that I have done, or was aware of - I read that this is done at manufacture time - so really it IS DELL's fault I managed to speak to technical support who stated there would be a charge of £48!!! - to undo Dell's own procedure. I was still half tempted as I need to increase the OS partition running short of space. What was their solution? a) new hard drive b) new laptop.......in their dreams. This is quite a high end Dell XPS 15 laptop - Dell are certainly less than helpful.

Ordered laptop. the shipping address is incorrect (wrong city & state). Dell says that I have to wait for it to be shipped to correct it AND I am the one who has to contact Dell. There are two things on my invoice that I don't want/I don't think that I ordered them. Dell says that they cannot be removed so I am stuck with paying for services that I don't want and don't need. Mind you, my laptop has not shipped so there is no way that I could have used these services. I am going to contact consumer bureaus as well as state and federal officials about this

I bought a Wi-Fi extender that died after 5 months. There is no way to open a ticket for any non-Dell product that they sell. You cannot write a review on the product page. Pretty scammy, I definitely won't buy from them again.

purchased dell laptop online; next day received invoice email from mcafee subscription for$300 that i NEVER ORDERED; called phone# included in email and when i said i suspect fraud rep told me to go f**k off; called dell to inquire/report about this issue(mcafee $45 yearly subscription is part of bundle purchase, i do not despute that part); hour and a half with 7 different customer reps, all of them clueless, just repeating learned script; in a meantime received 5 spam emails about mcafee invoice due 04/15; today i called to make a full payment on my dell financing account and to close it to prevent further posibility of fraud and was told i have to wait, and they tried to talk me into keeping account open; i am done with dell and i am canceling my order (being dell customer for 20 years)

I would avoid trusting the website or sales. The site offers multiple deals and pc builds that claim ready to ship but be warned that you will easily be waiting over a month and a half for the order you place on any gaming desktops. On march 2nd I had originally ordered my Alienware Aurora R12 11th gen i9, 32gb ram, 1tb M.2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB. The original ship date was set for march 8th to arrive the 10th. When the item didn't arrive I called customer support only to find out that there is a delay and had to wait for an update. A few days later the update came in stating that due to a shortage of GPUs it will now ship on the 1st with next day delivery. this was not the case. the 4th of april and I get an email stating that it has now been pushed out to the 19th of april due to a PSU shortage. I've been in contact with Travis Storck - Executive Escalations Management and have been told again that it is back to being a GPU shortage again. But he has assured me that he is owning this ticket and will continue to monitor the progress for me...The fact that I can purchase multiple GPUs and PSUs online and get them to me in 3 days tells me that they just don't care. Oh and they love to lie and say that they have escalated your ticket to the top of the build list.... Why offer a product that you can not fulfill???

I purchased a charger in January, and about a month later the cord broke exposing the wires connecting from the battery pack. I had my other charger for a year and nothing was wrong with it (I just lost it). To me, this is a reflection of Dell making their products with more shawdy and cheep material. I wasn't doing anything different in my life for the cord to break, but a month after using the product it breaks? That is ridiculous I had to pay $40 for something that literally broke 30 days later.  I think damage caused by cheap material should be covered under the warranty, as now it's currently not

I have owned 4 Dell computers started with an XP. From Win 7 on it was downhill with 2 Win 7 machines and by far the worst a WIN 10 Inspiron. This PC crashed numerous times, eventually the OS became so bad to make this POS useless. There isn't a chance in the universe I shall ever buy another DELL.

My 11-months DELL Inspiron 15 5000 dies due to a motherboard problem. Support even tells me that my laptop wasn't new anymore whereas my previous laptop lasted exactly 10 years! DELL support arranges a pick-up with UPS; The pick-up should happen the next day but, instead, it took 1 week for UPS to come and pick it up. I had to wait all those days at home. In the meanwhile, I call DELL to ask what is happening. One supporter tells me that UPS has already left a notification at my mailbox because I was not there; Both lies, since there was no notification at my mailbox and UPS admitted that they never came. After 1 week, UPS gets my laptop without any safety package as DELL told me. It takes 2 more weeks for DELL to fix and send my laptop back. Total: 3 weeks waiting. Story continues... After 5 days, laptop doesn't turn on again. Motherboard is burnt for 2nd time! I call DELL support to claim a refund. They wont give it to me. Instead, a technician would come to my home this time. The technician didn't come next day as DELL promised. He comes 2 days later. DELL support lies that this was a misunderstanding about when technician would come. Technician substitutes the burnt motherboard with a new one. Laptop works again. Story continues... Motherboard is burnt for third time!!! I call support and tell them there is no way I will accept a fix again, οnly refund! Support tells me that they will send me a new laptop instead. I accept it. Support claims that the official approval for swap would take maximum 3 days. I get no call and 4 days later I call them again. DELL tells me this time that there are only 2 days passed (lie) and that those things usually take 2-3 weeks!!!!!! I am getting super angry. Technical supporter wants to get rid of me and connects me to the Customer Care without my consent. Customer Care tells me that this is not the right place and connects me back to the Technical Support, to a new person this time. This one has no idea what is going on; She asks me why my laptop keeps damaging (!) and that there is no new laptop arranged for you! Then, she connects me -- again -- to another technical supporter. This one tells me that the manager needs approximately 1 week to approve and that in total, it needs 3-4 weeks until I get a new laptop (if it is officially approved)!!! Every supporter just adds one more week... I am still waiting for the approval and the new laptop. I'm frustrated and upset with all this bureaucracy, with supporters giving you different or false information. I really wonder, you have no right as a customer? All this should be illegal. By far the worst experience ever! It's the last time I buy anything from this unprofessional and unresponsible company called DELL!!!

I purchased a laptop from Best Buy. I had the laptop less than a yr. When I go to use the laptop and it won't load. I called Dell... after transferring me about 3x, finally someone willing to help. We tried all troubleshooting methods but nothing worked. At this time I was asked to send laptop in for repair of software. I was asked if the laptop was dropped or broken. I responded No! So I proceeded to FedEx and sent the laptop back. After, a month or so and not hearing from them I called in to check the status of my laptop. At this time after being transferred 4x I get a rep explaining my laptop was lost. I provided FedEx information and who signed for my laptop. I had to make this call several times repeating myself several over the course of 7 months. At that point I was sent a replacement by the 8 month of this on going issue. Now, after having the Replacement for less than 3 months barely using it because I opted to by another laptop while mine was lost. The laptop doesn't open the screen frame is popping from the backing making it unable to open. Once more I've been transferred about 10x and no real resolution. Besides being told I will need to pay for repairs because it's out of warranty now. I will never buy another Dell. Customer Service is the worst and no real solution without constant calling and several transfers.

Bought an Alienware X17-R1. Less than 3 month old, having problems with blinking screen every 5 seconds. Called tech support multiple times, all they did was send a technician with another hard drive, now Laptop is not connecting to internet. They won’t refund your money, now they want to exchange every part that comes out with problems instead of issuing the refund or exchange it for another new laptop. Don’t buy this junk, you are aware! By the way, I’m not the only one. Check how many 1 star review. Buy something else!

My computer had a corrupted OS and when I called they walked me through reinstalling it but I stopped before finishing the process because they said it would wipe all my data. I asked if they could recover it and they said it was a different department and sent me a link for support. The link said it would cost $100 dollars because it wasn't part of our warranty, but when they called me they said Dell didn't offer data recovery and would just need to do the reinstallation like the first person was going to do. So in one interaction, they told me a blatant and direct lie and charged me a $100 bogus charge for an otherwise free service because they thought they could trick me. Don't ever give these lying, scumbag, creeps one God damm cent.

Ordered a Inspiron Desktop 3891 computer, which was advertised as next day delivery. After payment was processed, identity verified, while on the phone with representative my order was never released for shipment. Called Monday 3/25 and realized the error on their part and released my order but now they're making me wait until 3/28. I asked them 7 times "why wasn't my order released on the 3/23 and they don't give me an answer. Asked to speak to a supervisor and the first time left my phone number with the rep and never called. Called again 2 hours later and the new rep refuses to connect me to a supervisor. Again, after repeating my question 7 times, she finally put me on hold to speak to a supervisor. This of course, doesn't mean I'll speak to one. First time ordering Dell on line and will NEVER order again. Horrible customer service. They refuse to own up to their mistakes. Bottom line, If I had not called on Monday 3/25 I would have never found out my order was on hold.

Bought software from their website: Quickbooks Desktop. I received a download link from them and a license key, but it was missing a required product key. "No problem" I thought, I'll just contact support and get that info. 2.5 hours in, here is where I'm at: -Wasted fifteen minutes with their online "support" FAQ menus. -Called and talked with Krishpul, who asked me for my support tag for the computer (like, what?). I tried to figure out why they needed that. She told me to call tech support and hung up. -I called tech support. Couldn't get into the phone tree without entering a support tag from my computer (which is not even a Dell btw), so I hung up and called the Dell sales support again. -Talked to Shrikor. When I explained the problem, he hung up/disconnected -Tried again and talked to Olio. After doing some digging, she told me that Dell can't fix it, and I needed to contact Quickbooks to resolve it. I was like...are you sure? Or are they going to just tell me to call you? She promised me, and gave me two phone numbers for Intuit/Quickbooks support -Turns out that the first number was for Canada (I'm in USA) -The second one didn't ring through. Tried four times, and got busy signals. -Called the CA number again. Talked to a nice woman named Ellie. She seemed to understand the problem, asked If I could hold one or two minutes while she roped in a tech support person. I agreed, and held...for 20 minutes. Then I gave up and called back. -I reached Salina. She connected me with Randy in tech support. We worked on the problem for about fifteen minutes and I gave him my license number. He couldn't figure out why the license wasn't working for him until he realized that I was calling from USA and I needed to call a local number, which he gave me. So I did. -Called the US number. Spent 60-90 minutes on the phone with a great tech named Jessica. She got me running, overcoming half a dozen technical problems along the way, which would not have presented if I'd bought from Intuit (for $350) instead of Dell (for $250). Long story short: don't try to buy Quickbooks (or anything that might require order support) from Dell, unless the discount they offer is worth spending several hours on the phone unpacking and installing it.

I cant leave a zero or negative number as a score. I have been waiting for my refund. Bought a notebook computer. 1400$. Payment went through in 15 seconds. They had no problem processing the payment. That went through at light speed. They sent me wrong computer entirely. Return is painful and i think thats on purpose. Not what i ordered! 100% their error. I am sick of waiting for my refund. They've ghosted me. Won't answer my emails. Filed a claim with credit card company. This is fraudulent behavior. They are counting on people giving up so they don't have to issue refunds for their errors. Don't wait to claim with credit card company. Dell drags it out intentionally so you lose the option to put in a claim.
