I will never go through Home Depot home services installation/construction again. I don’t care about the warranty. I signed a contract in September of 2022 to get my windows installed and they are still not completed. They told me it would be done Dec 22/Jan 23. The contract said the windows was between March/April 20, 2023. No one verbalized that and skipped over the clarification when they showed me the contract to sign. I was also charge over 2,000$ more than my estimate (he tried to tell me it was 5,000 more). In January I made multi attempts to get in touch with someone for an update. The guy that I signed the contract with Brett and the guy that did the official measure Joe. Emailed and called nothing. After weeks I had to talk to an associate in the store. Finally getting in touch with the branch. Waste of time. They Installed around late Feb. The installers must’ve damaged the door with a drill and decided to still install it but fill it with Chaulk. The quality of the windows do not look new at all. They came back in April the day before the contract identifies the job should be completed fixed the lock, replaced the sliding glass door they installed damaged WITH THE WRONG SIZE DOOR. The contact attempted to say the job was done even though my windowsill was broken and 2 other windows with concerns were not address. That was April 19 and I figure it was convenient for them to say the windows were done because the next day the contract said the job would be done by. They failed the inspection because 2 windows were missing a total of 5 screws. So we are at 9 months, I’m still dealing with this nightmare and wondering how they will manage to mess up with my windowsill, 2 windows (one came with the black sealant splattered on the window and other was just made horrible to where the trim isn’t welded correctly) and the wrong size replacement door they installed. No one can give me a straight answer and I get different answers all the time. I complain about the sealant window when it was first installed and then they didn’t do anything about it.

Klamath Falls store: I prepaid for an order of plastic pipe to make sure they had it in stock and wanted to make it a quick stop on our way out of town. (We live 2 hours away.) I placed the order on Wed, knowing it needed to be picked by the following Tuesday. When I stopped to get it on Friday, I had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. The first person who tried to help me couldn't find my order in the staging area, so she asked someone else who also went to look for it. When a 3rd person couldn't find it, I was told it must have been ordered more than a week before and was put back in stock. Not the case! Finally, someone fixed the problem by going to the other end of the store and bringing me the 10 lengths of pipe I had ordered and already paid for. This store needs someone in charge who can organize the process for order pickups and make it more efficient. I wasn't only one who had to wait in line for almost an hour at the customer service desk. Lot of dissatisfied customers and a huge waste of everyone's time--including the hired help.

Starting on 6 MAY 2023 I have had my laundry washer & dryer delivery cancelled at no fault of my own at least 10 times!!!! They finally delivered them, said they were running late, one guy hurt his back so OK on my end, guy hurt his back. AI was told they would come back on Monday to install them! That was 3 WEEKS ago! AND for parts they left the electric cord for the dryer….. it is a gas dryer….. cant make this up! They are awful x 100% I still do not have the washer and dryer hooked up!!!! I have. 7 month at home!!!! Zack my customer representative at store 1504 is the complete opposite of helpful or good at his job! No followup, no concern, this is like a bad movie. Zack actually laughed on two of the many rescheduling occasions!!!

I've purchased online kitchen apliances worth over 3K while remodeling my rental.property and had a 2 week nightmarish experience with the exchange of refrigerator since it was too big and side door wouldn't open . I found the same model in smaller size ,which sounds like an easy exchange, well who knew..... I was not able to get any help over the phone. Seemed like I was being transferred from one operator to another, and nobody knew how to proceed with the exchange . After spending half a day on the phone , I decided to call the next day and was advised to go to the local store , so I went to my local Home Depot, which I frequently visit. It's really hard to get any help there, no sales associate on the floor in the apliance section, I've spent 45 min waiting and observing I found some interesting things: for one as large as this company is they like to work short staffed, little help they have there takes 15 min breaks at the same time I was lucky in a way to get Sue who started and explained my exchange process and 20% restocking fee, which I agreed to , but was advised to come back the next day bc that's when the manager was gonna be there to process and override my transaction. Well, the next day, the manager wasn't there, I got another associate Veronika, who wasn't able to help much . Then finally on Saturday , I was lucky to run into manager Robert, who was very quick to take my credit card and charge me for new Refridgerator but didn't compete the return, so when the delivery came, they refused to pick up original fridge bc "it wasn't in the system." In the end, a few words for corporate Home Depot , the incompetence of some of your associate is astounding , I assume you have a high turnover of employees, I see new faces whenever I'm there, obviously you've lost my business from now on . I was able to sell my Fridgidare refrigerator and purchase new one from AmericanFreight company, who provided me with: great costumer service , very flexible time window of delivery, easy to get a real person on the phone /personable and still human , Thanks to them I was able to recover some of the financial.and emotional losses you guys caused me . Good luck with your future endeavors, you guys will needed it , your system ain't set up right .

I ordered a playset for my nephew on May 16th. The place it was for his birthday and we were having a party for him and the kids over the weekend. The item was originally slated to be delivered between the 30th and no later than June 5th. I called home Depot in the evening on June 5th to find out if the delivery was running late. At this point I was told that the delivery would be arriving no later than June 7th. On June 7th in the afternoon I called to find out if they had a delivery window or eta. I was told that the delivery is handled by a third party vendor and they would not be updating a delivery date for another Forty-Eight hours because the item did not arrive to them until June 5th. I got the tracking number from home Depot customer service and called AAA Cooper. The third party company had no record of the delivery or any record of deliveries going to the address. I called back customer service and the lady said that it was just picked up and they don't have it in their system so they don't have an estimated date. I asked to speak with a supervisor and waited 30 mins on hold before hanging up so I could return to work. After I got off of work I was on the phone with another customer service representative and a supervisor for over an hour and a half in order to get the issue resolved. The conclusion was that the company had picked up the item from home Depot and it was not in their system so after over twenty days from the original order date they could not provide me with an estimated delivery date because they did not even have a tracking number that works. This is not doing the right thing this is not taking care of the customer and this goes against the values home Depot has set. I would be very appalled to see that nobody in upper management addresses this issue with the third party vendor that home Depot trust to conduct their business. The issue currently is still not resolved and I am waiting for tracking so I can try and coordinate with my company last minute to take time off to receive a bulky expensive item when/if it comes in. I would not recommend ordering anything online from home Depot. If it's not in the stores don't bother, go to another vendor. I just received an update as of today: the item was lost home depot accepted no responsibility for the lost item. The manager for customer service said she does not care the item was lost. Her manager does not take calls and does not care about customer service. I had to pay out of pocket to reorder the item, because there is a 3 to 5 day wait to get my money back. Otherwise I could order it after the money came back and have an even later delivery date. I could not even get a guarantee that the same third party would not be shipping the new one. The home Depot does not care about the community or the customer. Not sure who to post this under since it is online order and an issue with home Depot as a whole.

Horrible Customer Service! If you buy an appliance and it is defective from day one of installation, HD will not stand behind the product. They pass responsibility along to the manufacturer. Frigidaire's policy is the THREE technicians have to come out to say that it cannot be fixed and then THREE weeks after you have stayed home for hours to accommodate the techs' schedules, they will let you know if they will replace it. This is the very opposite of Costco. Have never dealt with a more absurd warranty policy in my life.

Installed both carpet and tile purchased at this store. Carpet has picking throughout it. Flooring manager never looked at it but said I probably had a bad vacuum causing it. My vacuum was brand new & purchased at Home Depot. Installer (HD subcontractor) came out and looked at it and said just cut the pickings off. After cutting them off has left carpet thin looking. On the tile the top thin layer was peeling off. Flooring manager told me I should have ask before buying it as they would have not recommended it. Why would they sell something that they know will fail? Guess where I'm not shopping anymore and telling everyone?

Bought a high end stackable washer and dryer from home depot. On the day of delivery the delivery service called me and told me that they will not hook up hoses or power cord unless i buy it from home depot. I explained to her that my purchase included hoses and power cord, but she did not believe me, When delivery team showed up they did not know how to stack the washer and dryer so they left with the units still sitting in the middle of the floor they also noticed so damage to the dryer and said it was cosmetic. I called the service and they told me that I would have to call an appliance company and pay to have install the unit. About 3 hours later they called back and said that they could set it up and a week later they showed up only to tell me that the dryer's damage was more than just cosmetic and needed to be replaced and took the dryer back to the warehouse. Later that day I got a call from the delivery service people who yelled at me for letting the delivery guys take the dryer and told me that the Bosch would not replace the dryer because I got a credit for the damage, but I did not get anything. After days of fighting with home depot they finally got things straighten out and scheduled another install date. I will never shop there again not because of the store but because of the rude and unprofessional delivery service.

Had a delivery scheduled for today 5-19-23. They lied and said they couldn't deliver my order because there was no one over 18 to sign for it. After six phone calls, I was finally told the truth, THE OPRDER WAS NEVER PLACED ON THE TRUCK. So next delivery date is May29, 2023. I cancelled this order and I will be going to LOWES, Bernards or anywhere else that they actually provide accurate and fast delivery.

I purchased LG built-in Refrigerator from Home Depot. The installer could not come for a couple of weeks, so I left it in the box in my garage. Today the installer came when he unboxed the refrigerator, he pointed out that the top of the refrigerator had been damaged. The top piece was apparently damaged during shipping, Home Depot said that they have a 48-hour policy that they will not replace anything more than 48 hours after delivery. I did not feel that it would have been safe for me to unbox a refrigerator sitting on a pallet. So, I am not pleased to receive a damaged refrigerator from your company after spending $9000. I bought a high end washer and dryer and the washer atopped turning on after 3 weeks of use. It has since taken us 2 weeks to schedule someone to repair or replace it. We also bought a pressure washer that stopped working after three weeks and there is no way for us to replace or repair it. I will never buy from home depot again.

I shop regularly at the Clayton, GA Home Depot. Sue in the Lighting/Electrical section is awesome. She is friendly, knowledgeable and always available to help. She answered questions I had prior to my purchases of landscape lighting, a transformer, LED light bulbs and other items. Sue is to be commended as an exemplary employee and a pleasure to work with!

We have spent over$3,000 at Home Depot on our landscaping. We had two orders of white rock. The first order we received was correct. The second order was wrong. We spoke with several customer service employees and all we have gotten is a whole lot of BS and nonsense. The mistake was Home Depot's not our. We paid $900 for 55 bags of the wrong rock. I myself am done with Home Depot. They need to revamp their so called customer service.

Sorry to complain but Ponderay Idaho Home Depot is terrible to do business with! Unfortunately, this has been the worst experience in ordering we have ever had. Not only did they make multiple excuses and rescheduled my delivery before finally telling me the road restrictions were preventing delivery (which makes complete sense) however, the rude driver yelling at me when I stated this whole process has left me really frustrated was not needed but when they did finally deliver part oif the order was missing. The driver who ended up delivering called it in on site (this driver was wonderful) that it was missing, we called it in, We were told a manager would call, they did not. Though they put in the notes they called, and we did not answer. We were told they would call yet again today, and they did not. I called again and was told I was wrong the items were in the order. I let them know that they we not. There were 3 deliveries before me, maybe they went there I don't know but they were not here. I started a chat on Homedepot.com to be told they can't help me to take it up with the store. We are now 4 phone calls to them in and now being told I am wrong they were delivered but they will credit back the missing items.... Great that's all I want since they were not included. But they most certainly were not included in any of the pallets that were delivered. We went through every piece. The lack of customer service and resolve has certainly upset me. The idea of ordering from the Ponderay Home Depot ever again has left a sour taste in my mouth. I am saddened to see this is the level of service representing home depot. I hope other stores are not this way.

Managers, sales reps & customer service reps (at the local store (G. H.), district level(G.R., Mi.), and the headquarter's level (Alabama) ) repeatedly fail to answer and fix: 1) the debt, 2) the failures of the product & 3) the faulty performance/workmanship of their employees and/or another (CFI subcontractors)! In other words, they did not comply and backup & credit the warranties & guarantees granted to the customer regarding: 1) the quality of products and 2) the quality of the work performed. Every employee(from the bottom-up) did not reply to: 1) the customer's queries (20+, it was all lip service saying they will follow up & correct the problems) or 2) act on (resolve) and fix the problem(s). Home Depot was given the option by the customer to : 1) fix/correct all the problems or 2) a) let the customer return all purchased items,b) refund the money in full (approx. $19,000) & c) fix all the damages the workers/subcontractors (CFI) did to the house. At this point in time, Home Depot has done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. Home Depot employees have no work ethics and the quality of their products and their work is extremely poor! They are extremely unreliable all around. Their only concern is to make MONEY by getting and keeping your money!!

I've been a home depot card holder for many year, over the years I've bought all of my power tools, lumber for projects, three mowers, lawm equipment and appliances. About a year ago I ordered a dryer, they said it would take about a week to get. A week turned into two and then three. Then they said I could go down to the supply yard and pick it up. Now my refrigerator quit and they said it would take a about a week to get, I can't wait a week for a new one. No one seemed to want and help me out in my emergency. I'm thinking about tearing up my home depot card and go to Lowe's.
