Absolutely disgraceful customer service. My wife returned her dress via their collect+ service hoping to exchange it for another size. Even though Ted Baker admits it has received the dress at their warehouse over a week ago they will not issue an exchange or refund until it is "scanned" by their staff who they have no means of contacting. If it is never "scanned" then she will never receive her exchange or refund.

Bought a dress for £139. 2 weeks later they put it on sale for £97 and refused to refund the difference. Most other companies would honour this.

I am absolutely shocked at the lack of customer care from Ted Baker. I bought a dress at cost of £169. Upon wearing it for the very first time by the time I got out of the car it literally looked like an old dish rag due to the poor choice of material. I sent it back to ted baker for ‘inspection’ twice in fact, explaining the circumstances and they returned it saying it had been worn and was not a manufacturing fault. As I explained - yes I didn’t know about the problem until I actually wore it but they literally told me to go away. So now I have a dress that I cannot wear and am £170 down. I e planned it was not fit for purpose but they literally didn’t care. Note the dress is the marinee asaymetric d ring dress do not buy it or expect any level of customer service from ted baker. Disgusted with their attitude to this. I attach a photo I think everyone will agree this does not look like a £169 dress that has been worn once ! I have spent a lot of money with ted baker in the past which makes it sting worse. I am contacting trading standards.

I’ve ordered three items from TB so far and won’t order anything anymore. First was jumpsuit: it arrived and the fabric was so damaged it couldn’t be fixed even by a professional. I sent TB an email and they said I should send the item back (and pay for the mailing costs) and then they would examine whether the item is faulty (i had already sent them pictures). With the delivery times my jumpsuit wouldn’t have been made it on time for the occasion so i decided to keep the faulty jumpsuit and wore a dress instead. My next order was fine, which is why i dared to order again last month. A HUGE mistake. I bought a coat (worth of 430€) which ended up being faulty.. the ”italian fabric” tag was so loosely on the sleeve, it could fall off anytime. I emailed about this and again the same response. I was worried they wouldn’t send me another coat and would charge me for the mailing costs if they decided the coat wasn’t ”faulty” enough. So again i decided to keep the coat and i just removed the ”italian fabric” tag completely since it would’ve been way too difficult to fix. I was disappointed that i had just paid over 400 euros for a coat and this was the quality i got. Today i noticed that the seams in the belt are faulty as well and you can see a plastic-y thing inside the belt that’s holding the belt in it’s shape. Also i noticed some sort of weird clear glue on the fabric. And i haven’t used the coat yet - not once. I don’t know if i should laugh or cry but this i know; as much as i love how the ted baker products look like i will never be buying anything from them anymore.

Bought a nice belt from a Ted Baker store at Heathrow T5 - it fell apart after a month. I contacted Ted Baker via email, with a photo and copy of the receipt. Good customer service would look like this: "We're really sorry to hear about that, let us have your address and we'll send you a replacement right away" Ted Baker's customer service looked like this (to paraphrase): "We're sorry you're disappointed with your purchase - this hasn't happened before. If you believe it's faulty (noting that I sent a photo of it falling apart) then you'll need to send it back to Heathrow airport" When I asked how long it would take to get a replacement, the reply was "I can confirm that's something you would have to take up with the airport themselves". Not impressed.

Purchased what I thought was a great hand bag for my wife while in the UK, from the Ted Baker store airside at Heathrow Airport. Wife loved the bag but 18 months down the track the leather is tearing on all 4 lower corners (not from the bottom but lower sides at the corners). Stitching is fine but it’s obviously poor quality leather that is ripping at the folds! Emailed online help line and told not Teds issue and that I need to take it back to the store!! Also told by sales girl at time of purchase that any faults can be followed up in Australia, but online Teds denies this would have been said at all? Yeah right Ted, I’m lying about that!! All well and good but I live in Australia and even if I could afford a plane ticket to take it back, the store is behind Customs and security at Heathrow departures! People, be very very careful with making a Ted your preferred bag! They do look great (so the wife says), but clearly, especially from all the negative reviews below, Ted has zero follow up on potential faults nor does it seem they give a stuff to be honest. More fool me, we purchased another two bags and two wallets when in London this July as we had such a good run with the first bag!! Initially!!! POOR TED, VERY VERY POOR!!!

Second time security tag left on an item from Bullring store. Cost me an hour in time and £4.50 on both occasions to have it removed. No apology from store. No acknowledgement from online customer service.

I wish I had read these reviews before I decided to purchase a dress online. I have never bought anything online from them before and will never do it again. The dress didn't fit so I tried to take it back to the store for an immediate refund. I was told to send it back at my expense. I have done this 10 days ago, I have emailed customer services to see why I haven't received my refund as I too was kept on hold for 30 minutes on the phone so gave up to be told it has to go through a process in the warehouse which can take up to 7 days then I should get my refund 2 weeks later. They have £107 of my money as they have the dress back to re-sell it should be done immediately. They cannot call themselves a premium brand they offer a rubbish service for average quality clothes. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM TED BAKER!

Horrible. I have been shopping online for many years and this has never happened to me before. Insane delivery costs from Europe to Europe! More specifically from the uk to Greece! I bought a coat online and sent it back because it was too big. I requested an exchange which they confirmed via email, but the coat never came. So I sent them emails, tried to call them and spoke to them twice, paid a huge amount of money on abroad phone calls due to being put on hold for god knows how long, but they never helped because they didn’t know what was the issue. Therefore I would send an email and they would answer after a day and a half and finally they canceled my order due to contract issues with couriers in Greece. They just canceled my order, and did not refund my money. All in all, i am not sure how much I have already spent, but I wasted a lot of money. Do not shop online. There is no customer service, you have to send the same emails every time you have to call and explain everything from the beginning. Go to the actual shops, avoid online shopping. You will simply lose your money

I purchased a jumper from Ted Baker online and when I opened it the item had a big pull in the back. Clearly faulty I returned the item stating clearly it had a fault. Unbelievably Ted Baker want to charge me for the online return even though they delivered damaged goods. Clearly this is a shady practice to say the least. I am being penalised for their dodgy goods. What on earth is the matter with this retailer? I shan't be leaving this here. The cost is £3 which is nothing but the principle is unbelievable. Trading standards here we come and if necessary the small claims court. Can't say I will be ever buying anything off them again.

Bought a pair of Brogues, not cheap mind, but expected great quality. What I got in the second time worn was stitching pulling away from the sole of the shoe. Wrote to customer service and only got pre written, no resolution or replacement email. "When we design and create our products, we do so in mind of our customers and the quality they expect. It is for this reason that we have managed to maintain a strong relationship with our customers and keep their faith in our product. This being the case, it is disappointing to see that the top quality product you expect has not been produced. I'll ensure that your comments are passed down the relevant channels so this can be looked into to prevent any future instances." Prevent further instances? - what about the current one - resolve that!!

Two pairs of Chelsea boots, both very poor quality. First pair immediately returned as one inch of the shoe seam wasn't fixed to the sole. Second pair both heels ballooning at side after two weeks of use and shoe seam coming way from sole as with first pair. Disappointingly very poor quality.

Bought a watch for wife’s birthday it did not work. Returned it and had to beg for postage back and they sent out another watch that did not work. This time I have returned it asking for a refund. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase from ted baker. Customer services don’t read emails replies are from ted? That’s a personal touch!! Not even a real person. If you try to phone them make sure you have about half hour spare because you just on hold. But reading below I can see why as there are plenty of problems with this over rated unprofessional money grabbing company

Purchased a TB belt for ££25 (I must be mad). Without doubt this has to be one of the shabbiest items I have ever had the misfortune to own. The leather constantly pulls away from the housing and I’ve had to cut the belt short by 1cm and recut attachment holes. Also noticed today that the silver finish on the clasp is now tarnished and starting to show the base metal. I have belts that are over 25yrs old and still look great, this belt is ready to bin after 6 months wear.
