They stole my money, I went to the Ombudsman. Ombudsman found in my favour and gave Vodafone 28 days to pay up. Big mistake! The 28 days came and went and Vodafone did bugger all. Even though I am in contact with the Director Office they lie, prevaricate, be obtuse, and do NOT pay up what they owe even when told to by the Ombudsman. A £4.6 Million fine by Ofcom was obviously nowhere near enough, it needs to be more like £4.6 billion + all senior directors and the CEO sacked on the spot.

I have been with Vodafone ever since it changed from Vodacall to Vodafone some 25+years or more. Last year an upgrade went horribly wrong and in the end I had to email UK CEO and, the problem was rectified. I made a mistake last week and nearly had to buy another line (my fault entirely)when all I wanted was to upgrade my phone early. I emailed again CEO office and within a couple of days the problem was sorted. During my phone conversation with the CEO office I have gathered that Vodafone have been working hard over the last 8 months to improve on previous performance. I have to say it is so easy to complain and give a company a bad name. Seldom do you hear about the success stories when things sometimes do go wrong. So this is my effort to redress the balance. Only time will tell if things are improving. Providing of course that other people post the good stuff, Yes??

Vodafone are an absolutely shocking and rip off service. For the first 3 months i was very pleased with the service and being a vodafone pay as you go customer for nearly 10 years i decided to go for a contract. BIG MISTAKE. Over charged every single month after 3 months with no help from any of the many many staff i have spoken to and even being put through to the upgrade department as the staff were looking to stop my many many complaints towards the service. I have been pushed from pillar to post at every turn to which i thought there was no end to this dispicable service. Eventually got someone to review my account which was over a month ago and still havnt heard anything about it. Then seemed to have got a really nice lady who i thought helped me in many different ways. Nope didnt change a thing. My contract is £36 a month on which i have paid over £350 in the last 3 months, being told that some of the faults are from the vodafone system, having been through many different channels, being disconnect for lost payments and having problems with direct debits EVERY SINGLE MONTH FOR NEARLY A YEAR apparently due to faults on vodafone behalf, so i was continuely told and relayed to the many other staff i spoke to. Being charged premium rate for me to phone vodafone customer services because of all the problems caused is absolutely shocking and a disgrace that they can charge people such eratic prices for contracts they thought were secure is an absolute joke. No problems fixed, no promises met, no actual proper payment described has been taken and on top of that if i want to cancel my contract i've to pay £273. Vodafone should be shut down as there is no customer satisfaction as all. Cancelling my contract as soon as i have the money to do so due tobeing ripped off so close to christmas i cannot afford to get out of this horrendous contract till after the year.

I feel like having a rant will help me right now.. Vodafone is the worst phone company anyone could ever go with and I would never recommend them to anyone for the last 4 months they've been taking money out of my account that shouldn't be taken out I've had to ring up every month and all they keep saying is they'll credit me £20 or £40 off my next bill none of which has actually happened then when I ring up to ask them how much it will be to cancel my contract they tried telling me it will cost £389.76 like are you fucking kidding me angry isn't even the word right now!!

It is only one star because there is no option to rate lower. After over 10 years with Vodafone the customer service has just got worse and worse. After talking to 5 people online and over the phone and each agreeing I was missold my contract I am no closer to getting the issue resolved. Each person I have spoken to has given conflicting information, I requested to speak to a supervisor and was refused on a number of occasions, requested the complaints procedure and was also not provided with that. I also asked what I can do to reduce the cost of my bill as I am planning on going elsewhere and simply paying this one off as the service is so bad, I was told there was nothing I could do but thenlooked online and saw there was extra data charge on there which should have been taken off in October but wasn't. It appears they will do all they can to get you in a contract, even lie, then once you are incontract uou are on your own.

I have been with Vodafone for almost 4 years now, so I could call myself a loyal customer. During the black Friday week I have decided to upgrade my phone and also get my husband moved from another provider to Vodafone and get him a new contract with Vodafone too. DPD – delivery company for Vodafone couldn’t deliver our phone to us, because we were at work, so instead of dropping it off at their local Drop-off point, they have sent it back to Vodafone warehouse. After hours (yes, hours) on a phone with customer support team Vodafone failed to re-arrange delivery, let alone explain what the issues are or how they can help us. Moreover, I have been told 4 times that I would get a call back from their team and not once I’ve got one. During my last call I had to cancel both orders and asked to speak to customer service manager. I was refused to do so. When I asked to speak to customer complaints team – they hang up on me. To sum up, never deal with Vodafone, regardless how good the deal is. You most probably won’t get the phone delivered. If you do, though, and have a problem in future – don’t count on Customer service team helping you.

Vodafone is incompetent and offer appalling customer service. Despite endless attempts to resolve an issue on my account, Vodafone simply ignored every letter and every call. The only time they will resolve any problems is if instructed by the communications ombudsman. And in fact, I was told that today by one of their advisers. My credit file remains 3 months out of date, they do not honor their obligation to update monthly. I was forced to pay the bills manually each month as they do not honor the direct debit guarantee either. Over 4 consecutive months they applied for two direct debits each month or took more than the agreed amount without any prior warning. I have had to involve the Ombudsman twice over the course of the two year contract to get a resolve. Please avoid at all costs.

What a shower of Sh**. Been with them since 2009 took a new contract last November and recently had to tweak my mins to unlimited. They have reduced my data and didn't tell me so now incurred a huge charge for going over my data. Then last week sent my phone to be repaired as software issue. Was not damaged and got paperwork to show no damage I get a call to state the phone has a bend and now chargeable at a cost of £204. I refused to pay a they won't fix the software issues until I pay to repair the bend.

What went wrong . What a joke. Avoid vodafone like the plague. When you can actually get through to an operator you can't understand them. You have to ask them again and again. You get passed around from pillar to post, in the mean time spending at least an hour of your life you won't get back. Being put through to various departments and asked to go in store. AND then being told you were mis informed !! What a joke. Take my advice and go through 02 or some other phone company provider. Stay Well clear of Vodafone. Unproffesional. Still waiting over a week for customer care to call back.

Been with Vodafone for ten years plus. Each time I renew my contract they offer the world when you agree to the new contract that's when it starts. This time I recorded everything when I phone to explain the new contract was not the one i opted for. The lady who I couldn't understand said basically I was lying. I've been messed about lied to and ripped off. I've paid for my cancellation and am going to go with another provider tomorrow. My brother is a barrister and has listened to my recordings. He simply smiled and said make an appointment with an ombudsman which I have done. Seeing him 10.15 in the morning. Vodafone we will soon see who's lying. My honest advise to anyone about to join or are not happy with there service simply look at the reviews and go elsewhere. Ps nearly all other providers are cheaper and do honest decent deals. See you in court Vodafone

Vodafone!!!!!! After almost 20yrs loyalty I have never been so disgusted with anyone I've dealt with than Vodafone. Having been with them for nearly 20yrs what a shower of ##it they have turned into. They obviously no longer want to be a mobile provider anymore. Recently upgraded my phone and contract to a deal too good to be true. Got told a delivery date, didn't arrive, contacted them, will be there the next day sir. NO!!!!!! Re contacted them and told it won't be delivered until the following day even when I had spoken to advisers previsous to assure delivery dates. No one sings from the same hymn sheets. Phone finally arrives but no accessories as ordered. Further calls made as to where it was and was told they didn't offer accessories even though told a case was being sent at time of ordering. Advisors spoken too one said That my order wouldn't turn up until a week and a bit later and other stating that order didn't exsist. Complaints contacted and was spoken too by a limited English speaking male who after explaining what my complaint was began heckling and sniggering at me.As well as explaining my issues with him he did not respond to my concerns forcing me to repeat several times hello !!!! So I could get a response. It was as if he had taken his headphones off so not to listen to my gripes and then return once he thought I had finished. I asked to speak to managers or supervisiors due to the insolence shown by advisors but was told by several advisors that they were not allowed to come to the phone or unable to request a call back. Managers being paid good money for nothing by the sounds of things. Would not be possible to pass these supervising ranks in my profession. I have never complained about anything in my lifetime, possibly stupidly sucking things up but on this occasion I couldn't swallow. Vodafone I think your time has been and gone, EE I think you may be the 21st century company to be with.

Has proven near impossible to cancel a contract with this joke of a company. I have spent 12 plus hours on the phone with numerous advisors who have all refused to cancel the contract. I stopped paying the direct debit as I refuse to give them any more money after clearly staying my desire to end the contract. A few months down the line and they phone up stating that I now have a debt to them which must be paid. 8 explained that I have repeatedly told them I no lonmger want the contract and they still insist I must pay them money for the pay few months where the contract has not been used. The woman on the phone then claims that this debt will affect my credit rating and they will take me to court over it. An absolute joke since there will be numerous records (since they record all of their calls) of me trying to cancel this contract. If they do take me to court I will not let them get away with this disgusting, scamming behaviour. They are a ridiculous company who don't know the meaning of customer service and certainly aren't worth the stress, stay well clear of them.
