I ordered a dress from Tu through Argos didn't arrive 14th Jan so they are refunding still not recieved the money and according to them if you pay on PayPal it can take up to 30 days. Funny how when you purchase it's straight out of your account never again

I ordered a electric cooker from them with connection and recycling the old cooker, but it took a month to deliver it to me but it was the one I wanted so was prepared to wait. When they delivered it the ceramic top was cracked so I couldn't use it so they took back and also took my old cooker, saying someone would call to organise a new delivery date for a replacement which fine. It took 48hrs to get back to me saying the cooker was no longer in stock so would refund my money. they offered £30 off the installation of another cooker but they wanted £200 pound for another installation and delivery and recycle charge. That was way above the original charge which surprised me but customer service said even though they have left me with no means of cooking my only option was to order a new cooker and they could do nothing more.

AVOID FOR BULKY ITEMS AND WASHING… AVOID FOR BULKY ITEMS AND WASHING MACHINES!!! They will take your money in a fraction of a second but make your life a living hell to attempt to return a faulty item. Bought a washing machine which stained and ripped clothes, Argos say we have to talk to HOTPOINT to be able to return item? (Blatant infringement of returns policy). Thankfully, I kept records of all phonecalls. Passed between the two companies every day for two weeks like a joke. Hotpoint finally advised us to get a washing machine cleaner 😂. Eventually an engineer sent out, who verified that the drum needs replacement. Still no communication from either company, both say they are waiting for each other. TL;DR DON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM ARGOS IF YOU WANT YOUR RIGHTS TO BE INFRINGED AND TO BE TAKEN FOR A JOKE.

Poor service and liars Poor service... biggest liars sitting in argos. They product was a gift for my kids... which they were desperately waiting, I had place order back in Jan and ealiest date for delivery was 7th Feb 24 and on the day the driver call and said they are running late and will delivered later during the day and after sometime received text that they tried to delivered but failed to delivered, I call the driver straight away but he didn't answer and then i called customer service about it and said there is already someone at home and the driver is lieing and as usual they are helpless and cluess and said that i need to rebook what amaze me was next, she told me i have to call after 24hrs, i called it now and they told its out of stock and now they said refund is option after call us after 15 days to rebook when it might be in stock. And said I can launch a claim and can get compensation but you know what I have to call again for it... its a joke ... just a big company and this is how they work... I think that's the reason the companies in uk as sutting down

Have been sent from pillar to post about an order I placed nearly a week ago. They can’t tell me where it is, it was supposed to have arrived at the very latest, days ago. But what’s worse is the shoddy system they work with, which must be just as frustrating for the staff as it is for the customer. - In person staff at click and collect don’t have any details of how to track orders, just a handheld device that says number and yes/no - the Phone customer service is just awful, you key in the order number dozens of times and it still doesn’t go through. Voice recognition is rubbish. In the end they refuse your call, because the machine thinks you haven’t keyed in anything - online chat deals with home delivery. Not click and collect. They are the most helpful in a sense they tell you what you want to hear. But not what you need to hear, such as the status of your order. Argos, you are a massive company and a household brand. Surely you can hire staff to pick up the phone or engineers to improve on your tracking systems (and that appalling phone answering)

Natisha who I spoke to was great a great professional and she’s trying her best to work with a broken system to honour our order after waiting 3 months to fulfill an order Natisha alone deserves a medal for her calm demeanour . However Argos have been a total let down I have been waiting for delivery for a washer dryer since NOVEMBER due to the ineffective system you have with DHL and a lack of transit vans you’re expecting me to wait a further 3 weeks making it the 4the month I would be waiting for an item I paid that was not cheap - that’s immoral as we have. Disabled people in our family in need of usage of a washer dryer it’s immoral and despite having spent over 1500. 00 in just a few months I will make sure that this is the last item I buy if I don’t get my order - order number delivered ASAP this week it’s stressful and immoral -my order number is 251927618 please resolve this asap.

Argos , delivery company Panther, lost my mattress in the warehouse 5 weeks ago and still waiting. Ordered a mattress on 26th November 2023 Guaranteed normally within 14 days . Was booked for Saturday 16th December, Friday 15th got my text with delivery time . . Saturday 16th we get a text message. We're sorry your Argos Ltd order has not reached your depot in time for delivery. We'll call you within 48 hours to rebook. We received this text on the Monday and Wednesday. That night we received the text to re- book . To set up a date for your sparkly new Argos Ltd items to be delivered. So booked it for Saturday 23rd December 2023. I got a phone call from Panther there delivery company for Argos to admit it did arrive and it had been lost in the warehouse. As it was now Christmas they needed to re order a mattress and I would need to book another delivery day in January, which I booked Saturday 13th which was the earliest weekend I could book. But then I received a phone call on Monday the 8th January to say they don't deliver to my postcode on Saturdays!!!! Absolute joke as I had already booked up on line for this mattress 3 times and they had lost it. So no weekend delivery now and only week day free for us was Friday 19th January 2024. And waiting and waiting for a delivery slot so I can make sure we have a family member ready a waiting to finally take delivery, only to receive the text message at 9.30pm at night. Fingers crossed now it gets delivered in the morning as promised. Originally Panther said we would receive an email the next day to sort. As yet not one single email or phone call to apologise. It's been a nightmare as out new bed arrived from Argos on the 18th of December and it's been sat taking up valuable space as we can't build it as no mattress for it . I want an apology, some compensation for all the hassle, time wasteted, and lies from panther that it was lost by them . Or probably stollen conveniently just in time for Christmas. It would be appreciated if Argos do contact us

Order number is 6636520696 I bought a coffee machine from Argos online (for £299) with a an insurance cover(£62). I used Argos card to pay. The machine was faulty. I took it back to Argos Smelly Oak where they refunded me £299 for the price of the machine. The nice lady there were not able to issue the refund of the insurance policy, so she asked us to contact Argos online store. That was at the end of November 2023. We contacted Argos online and they asked us to contact the insurance company DOMESTIC AND GENERAL for the refund. We did that and the insurance company said that they will issue the refund. It was 2 weeks ago when Argos card started chasing me for the payment. I called and explained and they said Don't worry, we already left some notes and you will not be charged any interest as we are aware of the case. We called the insurance company and they promised that refund is coming in few days. Today I realised Argos card started charging me interest for a late payment!! Now the insurance company is refusing to refund me and they opened a dispute with Argos. Argos are charging me an interest for a late payment and they are saying I have to contact the insurance company for the refund!!! I bought the machine and the insurance cover from Argos using Thier Argos credit card. I just new about the name of the insurance company from them. I made tens of calls , hours of nonsense talk with different people from different departments in vain. The worst shopping experience ever! Order number is 6636520696

The manager she is racist, insensitive and rude. I had to return a product and it refused me under the pretext that it was used (although it was in perfect condition, not used, without signs of wear). I had to go to another store where they accepted the product without problems.. it's not the first time I've experienced something like this with her. it is the most disgusting store

I was served by two different members of staff in the Warrington Church Street branch. Both members of staff had terrible customer service. The queue was very long and all staff were on tills not giving out items to people waiting to collect them. I asked politely if someone from the back could pass me my items as they had been sat there 20 minutes whilst I queued and paid. Her response was very abrupt. Within minutes my items were given to me with a very sarcastic ‘Have a nice day’. This is not the first time I’ve experienced attitude from staff at this store. People shouldn’t work in retail if they can’t organise themselves to ensure good customer service is provided. I would have given zero stars if this was an option.

Dreadful customer service. Purchased a Sage 3in1 Microwave, after 3 weeks the turntable started making very unusual noises and a smell of burning. Tried to call Argos Customer services, 20 minutes later I'm told to contact Sage - Really??? Argos as the retailer are responsible - However I was transferred and proceeded to wait for a further 20 minutes. In the end I gave up and redialled Customer Services - Again they couldn't help so I asked to speak to a Supervisor or Manager. Response was - No Supervisor or Manager are available and I'll have to wait 48 hours. That's fine by me, I'll just hold on !!! After a few moments I actually speak to a Manager. Explain everything to them and she speaks to the collection store and instructs them to order a replacement for collection when I return the faulty item. Honestly- the worse customer service I have ever experienced. Argos, If you read this Please take note and action on it.

If I could provide 0 stars I would. Wait in for 5 hours for a delivery - driver said he’d be with me in an hour. I had to call customer services to find out he didn’t want to deliver and apparently told me (he didn’t). Woman at customer services had no customer service skills - talking over me, no empathy, refused to let me speak to a manager. Fast forward 15 days… your delivery is due between 730am and 930am, text message received at 7.20 sorry we haven’t been able to deliver today please call us. Errrr how can’t you deliver today, I am in…. Try to call - customer services not open. I have a medical condition which requires my medication to be refrigerated, which Argos are aware…no fridge for over a month now…. It is less than a week until Christmas, you’ve had my money for nearly two months. I have no way of keeping my life saving medication cold, or to keep food refrigerated - absolute joke!

Really horrible customer service. The item delivered was faulty and you have to jump through 1000s of hurdles to return it. According to the website, you can return the item in the store. After carrying the heavy printer over there I was told that the collection needs to be organised by calling customer service and the sales assistants in the store can not call for me. When I called to the customer service the lady on the phone shouted at me and told me off for not speaking to Canon first. So now I need to be on hold to Canon to then call back customer service and finally organise an item collection. How I wish I ordered through Amazon instead!!

Why is it Argos are not able to provide a VAT invoice on purchasing an item. Is it really that difficult? Their help guide indicates that it is available by logging in. Unfortunately it never is. Calling them is a painfull experience and there is no such thing as a complaints department or a complaints reference, even though some one will write down your complaint. I have had to call twice in two days. Dont expect a call back, well I have only been waiting 2 days so may be there is still hope, but certainly wont be counting on it.

I had no notification of my delivery slot just a missed call from a number I did not recognise on the day. I then get a text from Argos three hours later to say my order has been dispatched! I rang the mobile number it was the Argos delivery driver who told me my order had been returned to Argos (unfortunately I'd missed the delivery). I rang Argos customer service who said my order had been marked as delivered by their fast track delivery driver. I explained I had spoken to the driver on his mobile and was told he'd returned it back to Argos. It took 4 calls to try and get my issue dealt with! First time they hung up, second time I was told to call back after my delivery slot had ended, third time I was told to call back after 5pm, fourth time to be fair the advisor took time to sort it out (I hope) no option for a re delivery just a refund which can take up to13 days (I purchased the items during black Friday deal and now the price has gone back up!) Then told to re order, why would I trust them to deliver my order again after taking my money!? I'm so disappointed, I've never had an issue with Argos before. What's going on?

Brought an item & choose my collection point, only to find out the location’s under renovation & my parcel sent to a random store . Contacted CS & showed up to a store & is unable to locate my item. Your CS in-store & on phone is unhelpful & complaint ignored.
