Absolutely disgusted with Clarion. Reported back door lock failure following’bodge job’ to replace doors and windows. I reported this middle of February, spoke to a lovely lady who asked if there were any other issues. I told her many problems with kitchen,eg kitchen units broken and worktop rotten. She said she would arrange a visit 17/3 between 12-5pm. She said this was the first available appointment. I booked the day off work and waited, and waited..... until 4.30 when I phoned to ask if someone was coming. I was told” well you still have until 5pm, he maybe running late “ She said “if he hasn’t come ‘by the end of the day’ then give us a ring in the morning and we will chase it up “ Well it’s 9pm now. No show . What really infuriates me is no call, NO customer service and NO respect as a paying tenant 😡 I await your response but have a feeling it will be a long wait

Cannot find the words to describe how disgraceful this organisation is. They are indeed corrupt and I agree with other comments entirely. Their loyalty lies with the investors. The way in which repairs are left, including dangerous repairs causing health and safety risks. Their call centre technology is defective. They have been harassing tenants and threatening them with eviction, even though they have not missed rent payments. We involved the MP. Service charges are paid, but services haven't been carried out for years or properly, yet when complaints are made, nothing is done. They are constantly in breach of their part of the tenancy agreement. Court action is imminent!!

Arrogant, incompetent. By far the worst housing association I have ever been housed by.

It would take my wife and me much too long to detail all the appalling things that have happened with Clarion Housing as our freeholder and managing agent. Here's a snapshot of what we have dealt with within the last year and a half under Clarion; - It took Clarion just under a year to register us as new flat owners; which made everything from maintenance to payment matters as well as the provision of heating (heating system linked to freeholder) extremely difficult to achieve. - Every complaint we made had to be made repeatedly as information seemed to get lost in their system; some of our complaints were even purposely closed by Clarion before being resolved. - The level of maintenance around our residence has only been rather poor (eg. exterior window panels almost never cleaned, bins rarely cleaned, lack of gardening) and has made it hard to reconcile with total service charge costs. - We have only ever received partial, if not no information on what service charges to pay and when; having every time to ask for a cost breakdown, not always receiving it, and when we did, with inconsistencies. More appalling still, on two occasions, we received a letter asking for payment at the same time as a final reminder to pay including a threat to legal action in the following days. - As owners in our building, we collectively obtained Right To Manage and got another agent to takeover; yet Clarion, despite this being formally approved and effective, continued to demand payment when this can only be done by the new agent. We hope this very brief testimony will convince any prospective flat owner or tenant to stay clear of Clarion Housing, and altogether contribute to Clarion being brought to justice.

I had to put 1 star as there were no options for NONE, where do i start, after logging 4 repairs 7 weeks ago 1 repair has been dealt with, the 1st repair was booked in london when the actual job address was 1 1/2 hours away from London, 2nd job for asbestos we have been waiting 2 weeks for a simple report to advise us if there is asbestos in the property or not, they still have no answer for this, 3rd job to replace a glass window on the patio doors due to be fitted today 22.01.20, they have measured it wrong so the glass will not fit, they have now given us a new date for fitting 10.02.20 that's 2 1/2 weeks away? 4th job only just measured for that today after having 7 weeks to do this, Absolute JOKE of a company, the staff have no clue what is going on? area managers DO NOT respond to anything, and to top it off the complaints department are so inundated with complaints they cant get round to them quick enough.

AVOID AT ANY COST! UNfriendly, UNhelpful, UNresponsive and UNprofessional I imagine dealing with Clarion Housing is like showering in diarrhea, so I sincerely advise to avoid dealing with them at any cost, as it's just not worth the aggravation or upset! I could say a lot more, but it would be UNacceptable in a review.

Clarions housing officers are lazy they never investigate neighbour disputes with concrete evidence they should look in mirror they over act their authority they suddenly start giving eviction orders on just listening to malicious lies they evicted a African man who lived in house where i live he told me just on hearsay a Nutter has built a Eggshell next to me she was complaining non stop about me her head needs a brain transplant she failed to pick up eggshell she had built has no sound proof I can hear them they can hear me whose fault is that not mine but housing officer started to listen to malicious lies took my daughter's mobile no and started to harass her rather then me her tenant this housing officer used inappropriate words was I taking my medication and listened to Nutterwho built eggshell next to me insulting older people the nutter had reported re my welfare the nutter is few years younger then me she has no respect for older people how degrading she is old she might need welfare well before me she is not all there there is building work done in that house since 4 years one has got to be insane for god's sake sod off buy another house rather then keep on operating on a very old Victorian house the housing officer took nutters side listening to re my welfare in old age if one looks at eggshell extension it is so ugly I am on process to sue Hackney Council the housing officers look from Mana Remotswe Detective Agency from Botswana to me they are like cartoons not very with it abusing their power working for Clarion I will teach them such a lesson next time they threaten me abusing their power I will show them the Mirror that might stop them looking at what they look like

Clarion housing is a corrupt organisation that needs investigating!. Still selling homes that are not fit for purpose, and refusing to take responsibility for their actions. Recently proven in my property which is located in Orchard Village Rainham, there are no fire barriers or adequate fire safety throughout the property!. Also severe structural hazards, three properties on the development have cracked from top to bottom, recently proven in my property the steelsworks are not supported on padstones, this is why is a severe Hazard, Beams that bear onto walls require the load (calculated both Dead & live Load) from the floor and roof above to distribute throughout the wall. a padstone should be installed to spread this load across the wall rather than the bearing pressure be directly on the brick/blockwork that the beam bears onto. Without the load distribution from a padstone its likely that the brickwork/Blockwork wall will fail and cause cracking at best and worse case the wall will fail and collapse. Also the insulation in the properties is in most properties Clarion have on the mark are sub-standard. In some instances, there have been attempts to retrofit the insulation in my home, but evidence shows this has not worked. Most properties do not have adequate – and in some cases any – insulation. Extortionate heating bills, Also doesn't help Clarion has misled residents because the community heating provided is massively more expensive than was suggested, represented and stated. i used 9,765 KwHrs in just 15 months. In my previous property i used just 4,146 KwHrs in 12 months, equalling 5,432 KwHrs over 15 months in a house that did not have the allegedly superior build and communal heating that the Orchard Village has. The designs for the house boasted that they would provide over 25% energy efficiency savings. That clearly has not happened I'm using 25 to 50% more energy than i was in my previous home that did not have the “high efficiency” and “reducing hot water heating energy” associated with these properties, Clearly, given that this is a feature in every single resident home, there is a failure in the heating system, failure in the insulation, failure in fire safety. Also note that me and none of the residence signed for the service charge prior to moving into the houses. I was then given the service charge agreement after completing and moving into the my house.. "Corruption" People's lives at risk on this development!

Clarion Housing are shocking they have to be one of the worst. They don't give a damn about you or care as long as they are getting the rent!! Nobody sorts anything out you are passed from pillow to post. Repairs aren't carried out . No one returns your calls they never deal with complaints. The properties aren't updated and we are living in a property that is mouldy damp and cannot use one of the rooms. Our housing officer all she talks about is her retiring and what holidays she is going on and has the easiest job on record she doesn't do anything. My advice is not to sign or have a Clarion property as its a sham and going downhill fast. Run for the hills !!
