Ordered an I Gel bed .....waited 5 weeks for delivery which we had to pay £20 for a Saturday when it arrived the base was longer than the mattress by 2 inches Went back to the shop only to be told to contact customer service After a visit from Fira and 18 phone calls to customer services (often on hold for 20 plus minutes) a new base was ordered even before the man had unloaded it he told me this one wouldn’t be right because there is a problem with the beds I rang customer services whilst the delivery men where still here, and was almost fobbed off again but eventually I got them to agree to a refund had to wait weeks for a Saturday collection altogether it has taken almost 6 months from ordering to getting a faulty product collected ........ 2 of the staff at the service center were helpful but as for the rest we’ll all I can say is don’t bother try somewhere else and save yourself a whole lot of grief

We ordered the pure indelgence bespoke range from Bensons and when we got home we looked at the reviews. I nearly cancelled because the reviews were so bad. However, we decided that we would commence with the order as we liked the bed so much. We had no problem with dealing with the sale and delivery team - yes we had to wait a bit on the phone but only about 10 mins and the telephone operative was courteous. When our bed was delivered we were called on the phone 2 hours before and the delivery men were brilliant. We noticed a dirty mark on the mattress so the delivery guy took a photo, called the head office and they said they would replace the mattress but we could use the one with the mark on it for now. A few week on I have had my new mattress delivered no fuss and no problem. Turning to the bed - well i can sum it up in one word - LUSH!! The topper is luxurious and soft and it is extremely comfortable. We normally went for a firm mattress but we decided on a medium this time and we are not disappointed - I actually want to go to bed early it's that comfortable. Well done Bensons - you have had some really bad reviews but my experience of you has been a good one.

Terrible customer service. Been complaining for over 6 months about a faulty mattress, had to pay to have it inspected to prove its faulty. This has now been done and we are still waiting for them to resolve the issues. Avoid this company and buy elsewhere

Bed not delivered on the agreed day, despite paying a premium, 5 weeks ago, for designated pm delivery. We had numerous e-mails to confirm the Friday delivery. We phoned several times today and they confirmed bed was in transit and would be delivered by 6pm. We phoned after 6pm when it did not arrive, to be told it would be delivered "some time next week". I have no alternative bed as I moved into this property today and took a day off work to accept the delivery. Customer service staff did not seem to know where the was, could not contact the distribution department and unable to confirm a new delivery date. Completely useless.

Terrible company after 11 months of refusing to accept responsibility we went to the Ombudsman. We were offered a full refund + £50 compensation. Goods eventually removed on 1st May 2019. Then Bensons ignored the ombudsman's ruling. £524 spent, no goods , disruption stress . DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are basically a sales agent for manufacturers. They take your money and you hay to deal with their mess. Rude, untruthful, unreliable, disorganised. Never again.

We exercised our rights under the 40 day exchange guarantee to order a softer mattress( 3 rather than 4) and paid £70 to do this.. The bed they sent was an inferior quality base and mattress and the base was broken. They insisted in exchanging the whole divan set even though it was only the mattress we needed. Delivery men told us that they just dispose of the old beds! Phoned shop at the time and then visited to try to get them to send the bed we originally paid for.and was told that they didn't sell the bed we had originally in a 3 even though it was clearly still for sale on their site. Shop staff are pleasant and appear helpful but nothing gets sorted. Customer services don't even bother replying. The after sales service from this company is very bad. The names of the beds keep changing and its very difficult to judge whether they offer real bargains in their sales..I think not.

I bought a mattress from this company, I paid £1300 and I thought it would last. 14 months later it has developed a noticeable dip and a rust coolers mark coming through from underneath the pillow top part of the mattress, their so called "expert" said it was the usual wear and tear, absolute nonsense. I'm now paying to get an independent inspection done

So where do I start with this. Ordered a bed 2 months or so ago to be delivered on the day we moved into our new home. The delivery was 7am in the morning as we hadn’t moved in but the people of the house kindly said they would accept delivery. No delivery was made, as apparently the bed isn’t available. Rang customer services to be told they haven’t got the bed in stock and don’t know when it’s going to be, asked to speak to a manager and the woman was rude saying I can’t. Went into the shop as got nowhere with the customer services team and they were also unhelpful. Another date was set for 2 weeks later so we gave them another chance. Received 2 text messages stating about time of delivery to then have a phone call on the same day as the texts on a Friday (delivery due Tuesday) to say that the bed still isn’t available and they can’t locate one. I then asked to fully cancel my order over the phone and to speak to a manager but was told I had to go into the store, I did this and then got told whilst in the store that it had to be done over the phone, how frustrating. Have now fully cancelled our order and will not be using bensons for beds ever again and will not recommend them to anyone. Shop else where.

Absolutely shocking service. When I ordered my products I informed the store manager that I lived on the top floor (3 flights of stairs) of a flat building. He okayed it all and said I was fine to get it delivered, delivery men would bring it up and set it all up for me (for a charge of course). I paid this charge. On my delivery day, the drivers call me to inform me the cannot deliver to me as I am too high up the building and health and safety will not permit it. So they take my products back to store. I was unable to get through to store to find out about redelivery and my products were not delivered when I had paid and set a delivery date. I phoned customer service and they informed me that the store manager had not left a note about my flat being on the top floor and so the delivery drivers were not aware. Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish. Will not be using this company again and would not recommend to anyone. A real shame, because I love their products but the sheer lack of communication between store, delivery and myself has really let them down.

useless and rude online customer service, still have my old mattress left at my house when I wanted it collected during delivery. They told me I needed an official recycle bag and they didnt have time to post it. The local Bensons shop said I could pick one up from the shop for free. Customer service then came up with more excuses. Once they have your order, customer service is non existent. Avoid.

today i had a bed delivered to my new home ,i was informed by the driver that parts were missing and to phone customer services. Customer services told me the parts could not be delivered for a week,when i said i had no other bed i was told "well you shouldnt have moved into a new house without a bed" and that disgusting statement pretty much sums up Bensons for Beds attitude to its customers DO NOT SHOP HERE

Sadly after you accept the product which is well made and constructed in a good way, the rest of my experience with Bensons was terrible. They took nearly £1300 twice on my credit card despite assuring me they wouldn't. They assured me that if they did it would be repaid straight away, it wasn't. The store manager promised to call me back regarding this financial problem as I was not allowed to speak to their finance department, she didn't. The instructions which came with the wardrobe did not match any of the numbers on the pieces, causing a very expensive waste of time for the person I was paying to build it I was told by the store to contact customer services, I did. A month later there was no reply, I tried various times to ring customer service which cut me off, did not do the call back they offer and basically ignored me. When I did speak to someone finally they told me to take up my concerns with the store, and send them photos of the deconstructed wardrobe with a photo of the instructions. When I pointed out that the wardrobe was constructed as they had not responded at all to my email, they said there was nothing they could do about it. This is a terrible company to deal with who simply ignore any concerns you have, try to avoid speaking to you then push the problem between each other. The store of course told me they could not deal with the issues as I needed to contact customer service. My advice is don't use this company!

Do not purchase anything from this company. They are absolutely shocking. Ordered mattress and damaged on arrival. Why would they expect, I would take it ?!! Would not take back, so had to photos of damage and arrange pick up and replacement. 3 months later and still no new mattress. The phone of phone calls I've made to this lot, is unreal and the time spent waiting on the phone .. hours !! I am seriously surprised this company has not gone under .. surely they will soon.

Absolutely disgusting customer care was charged £60 for canceling next day said it was in t&c but wasn't given the t&c untill after the transaction obnoxious guy called me to tell me about refund will have to wait 2weeks will never recommend this shop no wonder it's alwaysempty

£2548 order delivered damaged on 23 January 2019 and, despite being told that it would be sorted on 30 January 2019 and then again on a further 2 occassions, it has still not been replaced nearly 4 months later. Fraudsters.

I am so disappointed with this company. I ordered 2 items only one was delivered. Then I kept calling the warehouse or delivery service center but calls were not answered. Then I had to go to their showroom and I was informed that the company was on administration. No email or letter to advise me on this. The showroom told me to call the service center. The annoying part was one member of the team was blaming for contacting them later. How rude! Thereafter I've been calling the customer service but each time it was the same question and I kept repeating myself over and over again. They are the worst customer service ever! No connection and no follow-up. They will promise to call you after investigating the issue and promised to call back. Alas! When you call back its the same story they keep repeating. I regret ordering from this company and I will advise anyone to desist from buying from them. Up till time of complaint over six months ago they have not made any substantial progress to deliver my item. I'll be reporting them to the ombudsman. Useless customer service.

Appalling customer service. Ordered a new bed in November 2018; first 2 deliveries were water damaged so had to go back. Headboard that I ordered and paid for at the same time was not delivered for 6 months! It has taken me 6 months to get the bed and headboard I ordered and paid for and have spent hours on the phone to customer service and the warehouse trying to sort it out. None of the systems appear to work and no communication between their customer service and warehouse. Often rude and off hand representatives; drivers were however great. Took them to the Ombudsman who agreed compensation, this is however now being disputed by Bensons. Do not buy from this company and pass this on to your friends and family- spend your hard earned money elsewhere, they do not value the customer at all. Unbelievable, cannot believe that in a competitive market a company can be so careless about the customer.

Absolutely disgusting customer care from Dave in Southport I have been charged 20% of price of bed for canceling because it is not suitable for my disabled son I will be going to the ombudsman and will be giving bad reviews all over the net for this company I ordered the bed Friday and cancelled it first thing Monday I was told it's in the T&c but didn't get the t&c untill after they took my money
