Advisor Sold a know how plan at Currys said it was free for first three month and no money would be taken out of account for this period. Nothing but hassle in cancelling this plan and getting a refund for the first payments which should not have been taken out. To make matters worse management in call centre spoke rude before admitting they were in the wrong, no apology from him either on his mannerism. Management need retraining on customer services and how to speak calmly to customers.

I placed an order fo a new canon camera, they gladly processed the order and took £170 from me. The expected delivery date came and went and a survey arrived asking how the process went. I tried to use the online tracking but I don't have a tracking number, I tried to call them but the phone just tells you to use the online tracking. So I went in store and they informed me after 45 minutes on hold on an internal phone line that they don't have any stock. They might have some stock in ten days. I'm still waiting and I just hope that they don't go bust before I get either my camera or my money back. I can't see this business being around in 2017.

I placed an order for a Morphy Richards slow cooker online to collect in store the following day. I found placing the order easy and I went along to my nearest store the following day. Everything worked like clockwork. The assistant who traced my order was polite and helpful. All in all I experienced a very satisfactory shop at a very busy pre Christmas time!

I have ordered Amazon fire on 25th November, on 28thnI have received an email stating that my order is being processed and should reclever it by 1st December. Within half an hour I received email advising that my order may be delayed but that someone will contact me shortly (whichave for me means within couple of days) I send them an email on 1st December but no answer. Managed to get thru to customer service after an hour wait and in a rude manner I was advised that "I have to be paitient" as my order is out of stock and they don't know when they will have it , but if its back in stock I will receive it. I explained that since they took the money I would expect to have my product delivered within the time indicated when I was buying. Again in a rude way I was told I have to be patient. I asked for a complaints procedure and was advised that a manager will call me within 2-3 hours and again no one contacted me (not that I am surprised). I am wordering if they should be reported to training standards as I can see a lot of people have not received the order from them. I am not accepting explanation that it was black Friday and a lot of people bought their preduces, as I have bought from them in the past and had probless with my order being delivered. I gave them benefit of the doubt on this occasion but will not be making the same mistake again.

we ordered a washing machine last week and were promised that it would come Saturday evening. So we stayed in and waited, and waited. I disconnected the old machine and took it out to the yard. As our old cottage has some antiquated plumbing this meant turning the water off. Eventually we got a message saying the driver had run out of hours. and they would deliver Wednesday when we are both at work. We tried to track it on the website but it doesn't recognise the number. I have tried and tried to ring a human being without success as once you have gone through pressing this number and that number there is a 15 minute wait at least to speak to someone which so far I have been unable to achieve. Now I have had to reinstall the old machine so I can get some water and spent all Sunday away from home using somebody else's machine. A pathetic excise for customer service from a company that couldn't organise a booze up in a brewery. Now all I have to do is find a way of cancelling it so I can buy from the local family electrical shop.

We ordered a washing machine on 23rd October To cut a very long story short they still haven't delivered the correct machine and to date we have had 6 failed deliveries where we have been assured it would be delivered then it doesn't turn up. Each time we get a different excuse. NEVER use this company.

Went in to curry's today to buy a TVs box. Three staff were standing together chatting and I was being ignored. When I asked for assistance the staff were rude and made it clear They thought I was wasting their time.

Curry's customer service has been beyond unacceptable. I tried to purchase a tv in store as part of a black Friday deal and not surprised that it had sold out but ordered one online, reserve and collect so was happy that I'd pick it up the next day. I went in store the next day to be told it hadn't arrived and I would receive an email in the next couple of days to let me know it was in. On wandering around the store I was surprised to see one was left on the shelf and when I asked a member of staff if I could take that I was told no as it was a different system. Frustrated I walked away. Having not heard anything for a week I popped in the store to see if the item had arrived.  After much confusion a member of staff called the online service to find out that the order had been unsuccessful as too many had been purchased and you were unable to supply the demand and the money had been refunded to myself. At no point did I received any information by email or phone from curry's regarding this order being unsuccessful and they were unable to provide the TV.  I have not been refunded the money and therefore they still owe me £149.00 and from my point view compensation for money I have not had access to whilst the £150 has been in their account.  Additionally being under the impression that they would fulfil the order I didn't feel the need to look at other companies who would have offered me a good deal too.  So now I am without a TV, £150 down and having to pay full price for a TV because black Friday deals have passed. The customer service I have received both on line and within the store has been unacceptable and as a result I am annoyed and convinced that I will never do business with currys again.

The whole debacle was poor. I went in to buy an American fridge freezer none in stock. Bought the display model (no discount offered even though it had scratches). Tried to organise credit as xmas is coming but was declined even though no reason was given by finance company. Paid cash bought item which was supposed to be delivered today. Well yes you guessed it no delivery 2 calls put in by me initially this morning and was told if they had a problem someone would let me know. I hasten to add that call was before 8am. Called back at 5.30pm to be told after half an hour on hold my order had been cancelled. I asked why? No idea! I asked what will happen next as I have no fridge or freezer they said we will refund you but you have to go into the store. I've asked for a manager to call but there is a que of calls no doubt from irate unhappy customers. I would urge people to not use currys appalling service and no customer care at all.

Bought TV remote stopped working. Was told in shop they would get a replacement. They then called to say they wanted a serial number off remote and TV. There is no serial number on remote or TV. Have found original remote on Internet, so what are Curry's playing at. They want you to give up and go away. They sell you the goods then do not give a dam. Buy anything from Curry's if it goes wrong, tough.

Absolutely disgusted with the rip off "know how" scam. I have had this service for a number of years. When I needed it I had to wait a week for an engineer to come out, by which time I had lost a freezer full of food. The freezer promptly broke down again and this time they can get around to me in four days. It doesn't take a great intellect to realise that people pay for this service to receive promt attention when disaster strikes, not to wait a week to get a freezer mended. I believe that you have to have an engineer out four times before the appliance is replaced Don't bother trying to get hold of know how by phone, as you end up being passed from one person to another and ending up no further on than when you started. One particularly spiteful phone operative pretended that he didn't know what I was talking about before saying that I had asked him the same question five times and that he couldn't help and refused to put me through to his manager. Great customer service Currys, I for one will never buy anything else from you, and will inform everyone I can about about your dirty tricks.

I'll spare you the full story, but in summary they failed to deliver my TV on a given date, claiming some issue at their Preston centre. So I was given another date.....and another no show. They offered some cock and bull story about issues with their system. My wife asked to speak to a manager and was refused point blank. The call centre operative would not put her through. So we offered to drive to Preston and pick the TV up ourselves, which was refused. I have just checked my Tracker status and it is back to in progress. We are left hanging and hoping those incompetent fools can get their act together. I have never encountered such poor service. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THE DIXON/CURRY GROUP AGAIN, and I strongly urge you to so likewise. UPDATE: I phoned to cancel my order and get my money back, but was told the system was refusing to comply; some kind of error. The operator had to type up a note, instructing someone else to cancel it later. I suspect I'm not going to get my money back. I can't believe how incompetent and inept this organisation is; how have they managed to stay in business.

A few months ago I bought a Kenwood Mixer and attachments (£600) from your Daybrook Arnold store of PC Currys. I couldn't have had better service anywhere, wherever I moved there was an assistant there to help and explain items to me.(I am a 66 year old IT illiterate),Come today I wanted a new battery for my HP Laptop(6 years old but still going well), a new flexi-cover for my Samsung Tab 3 and some screenwash. I stood at the counter for 8 minutes, at the same store, after looking round for what I wanted. There wasn't a soul in sight that could help me find anything and, only 2 other customers. ONE person came from "out-back" and went wandering off around the store. There was only one assistant on the counter, twenty foot long, all the time I was there. A very, very disappointing experience for me after my first visit and seeing the TV Ads. Ah, well I was glad Asda was there. yours John Picksley.

I ordered a tv on Friday as part of the black Friday sales event. Paid extra to recieve it on monday. Wasn't delivered. Wasn't given a tracking number, wasn't told who was delivering it. Spent altogether 3 hours on hold waiting to speak to someone and each time they hung up on me. The absolute worst customer service and extremely hard to get a hold of someone. I called at different times on different days. Still haven't got through to anyone or recieved my order despite the fact that they have already billed me for it.

Ordered a laptop on line last week. When the confirmation came through the delivery address showed not as mine, but as an address where I had previously sent a present. As this other address did not appear when I placed the order, I did not, I think reasonably, think to use the “change the delivery address” function. On their confirmation though there is no option to do this. I tried to ring them (0844 number), waited a number of times for about 10 minutes at a time with no luck so I emailed them. As I had no response for 3 days I kept trying to ring them. Eventually, I got through after 22 minutes. The operator told me that the delivery address cannot be changed, the only thing I can do is cancel the delivery (as opposed to the order, which meant they still had the money), have it sent back to Currys and start the process again! Utterly unacceptable and frustrating

Was looking to buy laptop in Southport Currys shop. Went to ask for help from a group of staff who were stood talking and didn't seem happy that I had interrupted their conversation. They all looked at each other to answer before calling over another member of staff. This staff member was very unhelpful and quickly answered one question before walking away. I then went to ask another staff member about a laptop who helped explain about processors but then walked away. I chose a laptop I wanted and was waiting for a group of 4 staff members to finish their conversation and acknowledge me while I was stood next to them waiting. I was waiting for 20 minutes, while none of the staff paid any attention to me and it was obvious I was waiting. Walked out the shop to purchase a laptop elsewhere.

Well reading the reviews about Curry's PC World has encouraged me to continue with my claim. After moving into our new home we decided to replace the electric hob for a gas hob, so like many others we went down to our Local Store in Newark, Notts. Purchased a new gas hob and was persuaded into letting their Knowhow Team (I say Knowhow loosely) fit the hob for us this cost £75.00 The two guys came and they found out that the electric hob was stuck down quite firmly, they asked if my husband had a sharp knife, my husband then went to look for a Stanley knife, they then asked would I like them to try to take out the old hob I said "I don't know what do you think, I then went into the lounge all of a sudden I heard a loud bang, they had forced the old hob out by pushing from underneath and prising the top with such force the old hob shattered, and the worktop was damaged, one fitter said to the other I knew that would happen didn't you, he nodded. One fitter rushed out to the van with the pieces of glass hob, then rushed in with a disclaimer form, they stood over me and said " if you don't sign this and put into your own words the damage was not our fault the company will take money due out of our wages" I felt emotionally bullied and intimidated so I did as they asked. I have explained all this to Curry's PC World they have rejected my claim as they say I knew that the hob was stuck down, yes I did but didn't expect them to force it out, they should have refused to do the job. In all Curry's correspondence they have not mentioned what the fitters said to me regarding the lies they said, I now doubt if the money would have been taken out of the fitters wages. It makes me so cross that in their advert it states "We start with you" what a load of bullshit.(sorry but that is the only way to describe it)

What a joke of a company!!! You add things to your basket and they contact you to say they can't fulfil the delivery time. You ring to ask why and they said they have no stock yet later on the previous day the item is available to buy!!!
