What a terrible way to treat your loyal customers... I’m number 81 in the queue at the moment waiting to see where my paid goods are and why I wasn’t notified that they would be delayed... customer service is dreadful .... lost me as a customer.

I might as well add to the list of one star reviews that we all undoubtedly hope could be zero stars. Placed on online order April 27th, received email confirmation right away and my card was charged the full price - approx. $405 CAD. I don't even mind that the estimated date of arrival at my pick up point is May 5 (tomorrow), and the order tracking hasn't budged from the first step of "Preparing Order", that's okay I don't mind waiting a while longer considering the current state of the world. The thing that infuriates me is that my credit card was charged the full price for the THREE items I ordered plus shipping and taxes, but the order tracking for my order number is only showing TWO of the items I ordered AND PAID FOR with a price of $213. Even that wouldn't be so bad if it was at all even remotely possible to get a hold of customer support. Waiting on hold for over an hour, online chat doesn't work, no email address on the web site... Like many others have said in these reviews, I too wish I had come across how criminally poor Ikea's customer service is before ordering, and I would not have ordered from these crooks. Yes the worldwide pandemic is making business challenging for everyone, why do all the other big box stores seem to have no issue with navigating this dilemma and providing adequate service to their customers? #BOYCOTTIKEA

May 4th 2020 I have ordered a kitchen island. The delivery day confirmed by email was today. I had to wait outside for hours since there is no signal in my basement in case they called. The item was not received, neither they called to inform about the delay. I try to send an email but it says that the email service is not available. I tried to contact them by chat as suggested on their website, but no operator was available. I then called. The called dropped 3 times until I was able to speak to someone after 55 minutes waiting. He said that maybe there was an issue...maybe the payment didn't go through? He asked me... (I had to check and it did) Maybe the item was not delivered...? He asked ME...again. Then he told me to contact Ikea via email, I told him that the service is not available. He then, suggested me to contact IKEA via chat... I asked him if I have called IKEA customer service... and he said...YES! I said I wanted to cancel the order, he said he needed to transfer me because unfortunately he couldn't help with that...(me: ONLY???) So he transferred me just to have the call dropped after another 30mins waiting. THANK YOU IKEA. I understand the delay because of the pandemic but to take my money that was fast though!! The lack of communication and the impossibility to reach out for help and support is unacceptable.

We ordered couches on April 2nd and were given a delivery date of April 17th. Unfortunately, the couches did not come that day, and I was not notified that there would be a delay. IKEA did not tell me that they would be delayed nor have they given me a new delivery date. I sent an email to them and only then did they reply that the delivery was delayed, and it would be shipped by or before May 1st. It is now May 4th and I have not received my order, and I haven’t had any additional communication from IKEA about when the order will potentially arrive. I’ve tried to call, but after being on hold for a couple minutes the line cuts you off and issues a busy signal. When I want to send an email it only says “why are you cancelling the order”, and “the delivery fee in non refundable”. I do not wish to cancel the order (yet), but I would like some communication as to when I will receive the items that I’ve purchased. I also do not want to forfeit a delivery fee for items that were never delivered (at this point, I feel as though IKEA should refund the delivery fee regardless). With the coronavirus situation, I completely understand that deliveries may be delayed, but the lack of communication is extremely rude at this point. This will most likely be my last time ordering from IKEA delivery and it’s making me question whether i still want to spend my money at this store.

We purchased the pack of two shoe storage boxes. Whilst we like the product, packaging or material issues may need to be addressed. We ordered online delivery. Unfortunately the in first pack one of the doors was cracked as was the base box on the second unit. We phoned and ordered a replacement. Good customer service as a replacement was sent straight away and arrived within two days. Unfortunately when the second pack arrived, despite this time being sent in a cardboard box rather than just cellophane, the corner of one of the doors was broken to and even worse extent and broken pieces were in the box(see photos) We managed for salvage two complete units from the four units despite still a few hairline cracks, which hopefully don’t develop further. Unfortunately good quality customer service and a good product is not matched by the quality of the material used or the packaging process.

Dont bother ordering from IKEA during this Covid-19. They are liars, first they email you changing the date of delivery and then when the actual day of delivery comes they call you saying the order was never processed and it got lost. So we wasted 1 month waiting for our furnitures and items and another week or so for our refunds. Btw they dont even email you a proper refund statement. Sketchy, I think IKEA is just grabbing money from people by making false promises they will deliver but ultimately they wont. The money they charge on your credit card is what currently helping them stay in business. Please don't order from IKEA. It's not worth the time and effort. 45 minutes to 1 hour and a half wait for customer service who doesn't even know what they're talking about.

I placed an order for a sofa and some deck furniture a month ago. I understood delivery would take longer than usual due to Covid-19 and their logistics. A msg. notified me of a change of date. It was only one day so I wasn’t too annoyed. Today was the delivery date I was told my order would finally arrive. I’ve heard from no one. There has been no delivery. The delivery charge was $199.00 for a sofa and a small set for our deck (to assemble so it’s probably just a carton). Wayfair got a loveseat to me in 3 days and there was no charge. C’mon IKEA, be fair and be reliable! You’ve had my money for a month and I have nothing to show for it! I order almost everything online (I flip houses). IKEA, you have been my first delivery problem in three years of shopping online.

Either the loaders or warehouse workers made an awful mistake on march 3 rd 2020 i ordered a kitchen and spend over 10,000 dollars. (I did receive a 20 % back in gift card ) delivery was to be april 30 . after 2 months of waiting delivery was changed to may 1st. No problem. Delivery day came my old kitchen has been removed. My order was 215 pieces I was short 65 pieces .I only received doors and hardware. Called ikea was one the phone all day 8 hrs never got an answer. I emailed ikea it said could be 120 hrs for a response . If so my what am I to do with my builder. he is showing up to do the kitchen install on may 5 th. 0 star review will repost if this is resolved by may 5th

I have made an order on may 29th and I still haven’t received it, it’s June 1st. I have LITERALLY called over 200 times. I’ve called ikea and the shipping company and then the warehouse itself, each person would tell me a different story and that they will get in contact with me within 1-2 days but no body ever called or got back to ,e. I’ve send emails, went on the website, sent complaints but it’s like talking to a wall. Literally a wall or a bunch of minions that don’t know what they’re doing with their job. I’m so disappointed and I’m never dealing with ikea Again in my life.

I'm glad my first experience with IKEA online was only $400. I have a new home to furnish but it won't include anything from IKEA. On 4/20 I ordered a vanity with an estimated date a week or two out. Then, after paying for the item, the delivery date was changed to 43 DAYS out! So, I immediately cancelled the order but was told by CS that my credit would take 3-5 days. Nothing as of 10 days later. They don't answer the phone, or emails. Only after finding an email for "Press Inquiries" was I able to have a message passed long to. I then received a message that "It will be taken care of today" - no such luck. Additionally, I'm now told it will still take 3-5 days AFTER IKEA does its job - which may be never. Advice: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM IKEA. if you shop in their store, be CERTAIN of what you are getting and paying for. Way too many online complains about IKEA. Wish I had read first. Caveat emptor!

IKEA and many more should not be permitted to advertise for on line business. Its a scam… they simply torture their clients and abuse their consumer rights.. Like many reviews below, placed an online order, and believed their delivery… The items are to turning a tenanted accommodation. IKEA has not delivered and my tenant is threatening that I lied to him…. I have no excuse. I really wonder, what are these companies gaining by torturing their clients ? They have no system, no service and no remorse… should they really exist? Is the UAE the land that such companies can exist ? Very sad.

I gave an order on April 13th, 2020. Today is April 28th, 2020 and there is no improvement in my order. It still looks preparing. I try to call and send emails but no answer. They took the money but no products and no information. I feel like I am doing business with a mafia organization. Next time I will be aware and prepared for doing business with a mafia organization. I am really sad about this, I used and liked IKEA so much as an interior designer. I am so disappointed. At least do like Canadian tire and closed online shopping, If you cannot do it right. Order placed on the 11th of April 2020 and as per your available dates shown in the system for delivery was 26th of April 2020 between 10am and 1 pm Today is the 28th and we have no idea about the delivery. It’s so unprofessional that no person from IKEA have called us and provided an update and also we have tried all numbers and none of them work Order no. WEBO0298691 This is the first time we used the online platform of IKEA Dubai and it is really unprofessional. Customer service is one of the worst you could find in UAE

Don't expect any customer service. I bought a lamp in store, installed the majority of it on my ceiling, and realized a final plastic piece was missing that allows me to finish the installation. I found an online form to receive the missing part, filled it out, and never received anything from them. Just called and they aren't accepting calls for after-service support due to high call volumes. After asking in the sales department to speak to a supervisor and remaining on hold for 30 minutes, a resolution specialist told me that the only solution is to return the lamp to the store, there's nothing they can do for me because I didn't purchase online. The stores are all closed and there's no way to get this part for who knows how long. They were completely unable to help me in any way shape or form. This exposes a gaping hole in Ikea's customer support. If their products work as expected, great, but if you have a problem, good luck getting any sort of service.

So furious!! I understand what is happening around and how Covid 19 affects everything BUT what is the point in allowing customers to still order from the website and have it 'delivered' if they wont be available for the next 6 months???? OF COURSE, why losing customers as long as they got the money they think it is ok for us to just wait. I ordered on the 18 of March , said 1 week delivery, paid £40 to have it delivered within that time and surprise, got an email saying ' we are sorry but we rescheduled it for the 18th of May!!!! WTF?? I cant even cancel as they dont accept refunds yet, can't have my money back neither the products!! I'm so angry and disappointed. Tried calling all sorts of numbers to get in touch, they redirect me to all chargeable numbers £1/PM call and still nowhere to be found. This is ridiculous, .. I wanted to see if I'm the only one in this situation seems like I'm not same story either you guys. So frustrating!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😠😠👊👊👊

After 25 days I received call from IKEA representative that order for other half is cancelled because IKEA does not have capacity to deliver my order? Ikea is still accepting online order but my order is cancelled! After that I received email from no reply IKEA : “delivery company has attempted contacting you on several occasions to schedule a delivery appointment, however, they have not heard back from you and shipping and handling costs are non-refundable “?? Where is integrity of IKEA?? I never received a call. In addition, what I am going to do with another half of the kitchen that is now useless? Gzim Gusinjac

I've placed an order for delivery, there has been no communication, it was supposed to be delivered today between 13:00 and 17:00. I havent recieved a phone call or email regarding any problems. I'm unable to reach anyone on the phone as it doesnt even ring. It wont allow me to send and email, I cant message on Face book, cant post on fb and have been waiting only delivery all day.
