Pretty much the same as everyone else here, Was meant to go to Spain for 7 nights with 3 friends, THIS BITS IMPORTANT, I'm not the lead passenger but I paid for it on my credit card Flights were cancelled due to Ryan air cancelling the flights, So we informed teletext holidays of this and they tried to persuade us to take vouchers which we refused, so they said the refund will be processed. this hasn't been done. They rang the Lead Passenger every week to try and persuade them to take the vouchers... to which we always say no. then they repeat "ok we'll start your refund process".... hang on, you said that on the previous call Due to Covid the lead passenger is no longer with us and they refuse to speak with me because I'm not the lead passenger. I have informed them of this and told them i paid for the holiday but they just don't care. "unless the Lead passenger gives us permission we cannot speak with you" .... How does a deceased person do this... anyone got any ideas? Ive had no choice but to raise a chareback on my card for this. IT's beyond a joke, I WOULD ENCORAGE EVERYONE WHO IS READING THIS JUST REQUEST THE REFUND AND GO STRAIT TO YOUR BACK FOR A CHARGE BACK. The quicker the banks drains their funds, the quicker they will file for administration and then ATOL can step in NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Worst worst worst agencie ever and never ever book again with them. I scheduled and paid in full for a 7 day holiday for two, (My Fiancé), with Teletext Holiday to Corfu Greece. My holiday was scheduled and paid for in full on September 6, 2020 to depart from London, Luton airport on October 6, 2020 at 15:15pm. When I arrived to the airport with my fiancé Elizabeth Paredes, for our flight, we were advised by an agent from Wizz Air, that our flight was not on their rosters and that their last flight to Corfu Greece was on Saturday October the 3rd, 2020. They also informed us that they had emailed every customer as well as travel agencies of their future cancellations for all flights to Corfu Greece on Saturday, October 3rd 2020. Teletext Holiday failed to contact me via phone, text or email of all cancellations with Wizz Air to Corfu Greece. After spending hours with Teletext Holiday and speaking to numerous agents (20 people), being put on hold and having them hang up on me in the process, I had no other choice but to contact my attorney to further help and assist me in this matter. Teletext finally informed that they will and can only assist me and my holiday needs by giving me a full refund of the total cost of my holiday. They also wanted me to pay for extra air flights, totaling for two people £754 if i chose to keep the reservation with Mareblue Hotel at Corfu Greece, spending yet again another airfare payment that was already paid for in full, part of my holiday deal. I also paid for a week in advance to park my vehicle in order to depart on time for my flight that was apparent, never scheduled to leave on the day that I paid for with Teletext Holiday. They have advised me that they will reimburse me with the full parking fee that I already paid for a week. The last agent I spoke to, Nishsa, informed me that I will receive two emails with my cancellation as well as a copy of the full refund I will be receiving for my holiday. As of today, I have NOT received anything on their end. Now is almost 4 month and nothing from them.

They have it down to a “T” These crooks are absolutely amazing at what they do. They are even selling holidays during the lockdown period knowing full well......there are no flights!!! William was so convincing on the phone though. He assured me that the airlines were still flying. Then there was our holiday that we had booked back in June. The customer service.....outstanding! Once you have booked, there phone systems disappear and they refuse to answer your phone calls by hanging up. Emailing is just as good. They don’t reply! If your lucky enough to finally get though like we were and spoke to Puja, they politely tell you to rebook with them and lose your money that way, or just give up and lose it anyway! There are ways of getting it back though. Though the small claims court or going though your bank but they will fight you for it!! At the end of the day, it’s their money, they have conned you out it! The best bit is yet to come!! They get their staff to write reviews on “trustpilot”! William was amazing, Puja was helpful, Ali’s customer service was great!!! Notice the pattern. It keeps their ratings up so they can keep conning more people out of their hard earned money!! DON’T BE FULLED!!!

I'm waiting for my refund since April 2020, it is feb21 now. I acepted that I been scamed and this company is froud. It is much beyond legal time line to refund and way way beyond good will and understanding the sudden and current situation. TT755954 was my dream holiday, now it is a nightmerish memory

Same as most people my wife organised a trip to las vegas for about 10 of us, we've paid the money (in full so as not to breach the contract) and they will not refund despite many assurances, we're now taking them to court! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Awful company to deal with! I've been chasing my holiday refund since September, every time the promise it will be the following month I'll receive my refund - every month am disappointed. They constantly lie to me, they have even hung up on me twice! Despite my requests I can never speak to a manager, even though they put me on hold for 10-20mins at a time to speak to them themselves. The company is a joke, I will NEVER use them or recommend them again.

My holiday waz 3,6,19 received holiday money but no refund yet for flights with Ryanair ino u will b inindated from customers but look at mine as I've been patient and waited long enough

Possibly the worst company ever. I cancelled my holiday in March 2020 due to having extremely vulnerable travellers in the family. I was first told to provide proof of this which I did, they then tried to convince me to get my dates changed to which I obviously refused to due to the pandemic. Eventually they agreed to giving me a refund but was told I would be put in a que as there are many people waiting. I call every month and get told something different by an agent each time. It has been 11 months now and I still haven't received my money. When I called last month I was told that I havent received my money because to do so I had to apparently email the refund team and confirm the last 4 digits on the card I paid with and wanted the refund paid into. This was never told to me any of the prior agents I spoke to. On the call today I have been told I'm still in the que and should receive my money soon. I requested some sort of evidence I.e an email from the company to say this in writing but was told they couldn't.

Had to give it one star so I could right a review. I’m having the exact same issue as the other reviews. Never have I dealt with a more unprofessional, disrespectful and borderline criminal company! The single worst company I’ve ever dealt with, I’m dealing with the financial ombudsman to try to resolve this matter out of court. WARNING TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS!!! They are more than happy to take your money but refuse to refund you when they cancel the holiday! DO NOT use Teletext holidays or you will have a bare minimum of 12 months of constant back and forth with the company just to get your money back. They claim they’re waiting for the money themselves before sending it to the customers but I find that very very hard to believe, they’re unlawfully withholding money from us and refusing to give it back, so as far as I’m concerned- I’ll be seeing them in small claims court!!

I eventually got a full refund 9 months after they cancelled my holiday due to Covid. I was treated appallingly by staff with the most discusting customer service i have ever experienced, i will never book with them again and i would certainly never reccommend them. I truly hope others get their refunds soon as it is mentally draining and not good for peoples mental health and wellbeing to put up this fight for so long during a global crisis which has been tough enough without putting up with this treatment from what is supposed to be a reputable company. They have proved to be nothing but dishonest and immoral.

I had to put one star to be able to write this review. Teletext holidays is a disgrace they are robbing families of their money I have been waiting 11 months for a refund and the only way will be to take them to a small claims court to sort this out I would tell anybody who is reading this that if you are still waiting you will need to do the same ,this company ihas got no intentions of paying people back the staff are so rude and cut you off the line after waiting 2 hours I would advise anyone looking to book a holiday steer clear of this company

Holiday cancelled for may 2020, still waiting for a refund in February 2021.teletext holidays has had my money for over a year now and keep feeding me with lies saying my refund will arrive in 14 days. Never ever use this company, they are beyond bad and they are breaking the law over their lack of refunds

crooks , the lot of em !!!! but I've had so much fun ringing with spoof holiday requests , keep them on the phone for an hour or so, then say bye, and insult them before hanging up the phone !!!! , such a pleasure winding them up, wasting their time and money , revenge!!!! a rare privilege these days , Wayne Perks has a lot to answer for , appalling way to deal with customers.

Do not book with this company!! I’ve been waiting 9months on my refund and every email sent is being ignored! Every phone call I’m told the month after I have already been waiting. Legal action has been taken upon them

Hi I am same has most customers booked holiday in good faith and still waiting for refund be on phone over 30 times and some times over 2 hours just to hear lies money will be refunded within 7 days but never happens I booked to fly may 2020 it is now Feb 21 and still chaseing TT748648

Ref TT710653. Still waiting for my refund despite false promises from this company.Holiday was May 21st 2020.Tellytext staff stated they cant send an email.or letter to confirm when this may be resolved.Also they dont have anyone else ie a supervisor to try and resolve this. Please don't use this company.

My Holiday was cancelled 23rd Dec 20, Teletext called me and persuaded me to rebook for 11th March 21, which has now been cancelled again, I asked for a refund, call centre fobbed me off said I would receive a call back in 72hrs with resolution. No call, I called today, apparently a support line, phone was put down on me 3 times, third person said i would have to accept credit note, which i said no, she said once I accepted the credit note i would be able to ask for a refund which would take 5 months! I called Jet2 who are the Holiday supplier they said if they cancel a holiday they refund the agents straight away! so where is my £3,000, if they have my money back, i want it returned, they are very quick to take it. I will never book through Teletext again, worse experience, they promised i would be Covid protected if anything changed. I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were told not to put anyone through to them. Check out their complaints process website isn't clear! I booked this Holiday in September 20!! They might have been around for years, probably won't be for long, if this is the way they look after their customers. Customer service call centre are robotic read from a spreadsheet when they can't answer you question put the phone down on you what a Joke. I would rate less then 1, keen to take your money, without the service.

Awful company, I rate it minus zero. It is keen to take your money but reluctant to refund it when the firm breaks the contract by cancelling the holiday. The law is that a refund is to be made within 14 days of cancellation of a packaged holiday. My request for a refund were totally ignored. However, I did extract the funds via' cashback' via my credit card provider. To avoid or delay refunds this firm ignored my correspondance, used lies and excuses and issued a credit note that I specfically advised that I did not want. I would never use this firm again and advise potential customers to avoid it likee the plague. Find an alternative agent but vet candidates by reading reviews. Be alert for the ostentatiously phoney 5 star reviews that state " Bashir was so helpful". or "Minda was such a nice person" etc
