Booking Ref TT 769866. Can you please explain why i have not received my refund for cancelled flight in June 2020 from Ryanair. Ryanair has confirmed that they refunded cost of flight back to teletext holidays on the 5/8/2020 to credit card ending in 6688, please Refund back to my credit card used for booking now or Legal proccedings will take place.

Holly you can do better then copy & paste the same message over again to every single review, are they waiting to go liquidation/bust so they don't need to bother giving customers refunds back?

Booking Reference TT804708 Appalling customer service from Teletext. I enquired about a holiday destination with teletext on Friday 2nd Oct 2020 that did not have Covid Restrictions / Changes, I was advised by Agent Able that Dubai was a destination that I could travel to, i told him to confirm this as I had just cancelled a holiday to Turkey due to the new restrictions, he assured me that this was a hassle free destination. I hadn't even the chance to read the quote via email he sent me when he asked for payment details to secure this booking. As soon as I had done this I asked him once again whether there was anything Covid related that I needed to know at which point he said you will need a PCR certificate, within 96hrs of travel, i asked him why he hadn't informed me before taking payment and how was a test even possible considering the booking was made 48hrs prior to departure. He said I would have to speak with customer support and disconnected my call. I have spoke with 10-12 agents from Teletext in the last 48hrs, after hours holding they disconnect the call. Have told me that I cannot get a refund, was told yesterday that i could amended rebook and today they are telling me I can't do that either. My flight is in 2hrs Sunday 4th October 2020

We have been trying to get our money back from our hoilday which was cancelled back in may. We are both pensioners and can not afford to lose this money. We have phone on many occasions & been told got to wait for a refund. Well we have waited & waited still no refund. I can not believe that it should take so long. We also tried to get the money back from our bank card. With no luck. This company is a rip off. Thay take your money but don't give it back. Well thay have lost our custom as would never book with them again. And would never recommend them. VERY DISAPPOINTED. AND STILL WAITING. BOOKING REF: TT742844.

Dear Richard (you replied to my previous review) summary of the review: we tried to POSTPONE our holiday to Turkey as I am on HIGH RISK category and just came out of self isolation in end of September. (We booked our intended holiday in February before the COVID-19. ) As I am a diabetic patient who is insulin dependent and I have another autoimmune condition too, I was advised against any travelling. Tried calling Teletext from 1st September. Our call were transferred to different department..put on hold for hours nobody answered the calls. Eventually, they asked us to send an email to TELETEXT COVID-19 support team. We wrote them several emails attaching the GOVERNMENT self isolation letters as proof...and the reason to cancel our holiday. We were supposed to leave to Turkey today 3rd October. And todayS news read that travellers arriving in the UK from TURKEY will have to self- isolate for 14 days from 04.00 on Saturday. Due to rising infection rate in Turkey. Some Airlines have cancelled their flights To TURKEY and in the process of refunding the money to their customers. My question here to MR. RICHARD is, Most OF THE BOOKINGS/HOLIDAYS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ABOVE REASON. AS OF TODAY. Are you going to FULLY REFUND OUR MONEY. I would like to mention here ....we have been booking holidays with TELETEXT for the past 4 years and never had any problems with them. Let’s WAIT and WATCH how your company treat your loyal customer (s). Your ACTION at this junction will decide if we/ others will come to you in the future or will go else where. Do not book with Teletext holidays they… Do not book with Teletext holidays they are liars and thieves.. After months of promising a refund I am spending hours on hold only to be told every time you will have it in 48 hours. I have sent 20 emails . Definitely the worst travel company I have ever used. Stay away if you are not looking to be scammed or robed and you never want to speak to anyone when you have an issue.

We booked an holiday in Egypt in March but due to current travelling restrictions we amended our holiday and paid a further £600 on top of the £1400 to go to Turkey then yesterday the government removed Turkey from the travel corridor when we tried to get a refund repeater said that we had booked our flights independently which was not the case all was done though their agents,my wife has been on the phone for 6 hours and spoke to 10 different agents and is still not resolved ,an absolute shambles,rude and unhelpful staff, never again.

Due to fly in April, unable to because flights cancelled due to covid, Ryanair have paid my flight money back to teletex, and they have promised me time and time again to pay me back, still it is not in the bank. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN

My holiday got cancelled in June through covid I am also disabled and on sheilding due to all my health issues there have caused me depression the way I have been treated i send all my sheilding letters and proof 9ff my health and there said I would be priority and after thousands of ignored emails and phone calls which have caused.me bad stress I can't believe our there treat disabled people like this and do not take notice of government letters and hosiptal letters and there cancelled it I am going t9 take this to court the way I had been treat is disgusting

Being fobbed off about refund I booked holiday in Feb, they cancelled March. Promised refund definitely may then Aug then Sept and now middle of Oct. not good enough. I will never book with Teletext holidays again. They are contracted to Truly holidays London and they never answer the phone. You call them at times stated only to be told to ring in opening times, which I did numerous times still to no avail.

Had a partial refund from a holiday I was due to go on in April, teletext informed me it was due to Ryan Air not paying for flights. Contacted Ryan Air who confirmed teletext claimed MY refund 3 months ago. Teletext promised refund in July then August then September. Absolutely disgusting service TT781860 I’ve been told a manager will contact me within 48hrs 5 tines now and this never happens

I am extremely un-happy with the service from teletexts holiday . We was due to fly in April and due to covid19 holiday got cancelled . We rebooked you fly in September and paid further £200 . Which in total for our holiday was £1600.00 Leading up to going we did not receive any flight details . Tried calling them spent hours and hours on the phone and still didn’t get anywhere . We was being pasted to different departments. Day before we was meant to fly after paying out for covid19 tests . We got through to the airline directly who we was meant to be flying with and they told us teletext holidays cancelled our booking in august . We wasn’t made aware of this . Teletext holiday are scamming customers they are not answering our calls . We finally got through to a manager who apologise and advised they did cancel our holiday but are trying to re-book us again . They didn’t do this and we then spent a further day trying to get through. We was then promised a full refund within 2 weeks it’s now been 3 weeks and we have not received payment . Spent the last 2 days trying to speak to someone and all they keep doing is putting us on hold and putting down the phone . The services is disgusting the way they speak rudely . I will never use this company again and advise all people not to either . They are taking people’s money and not even resolving the issues . Disgusting service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TT789419

I have been writing reviews everywhere...to warn other holiday goes against using Teletext holidays. My husband and myself we have been using Teletext holidays for the past Couple of years to book our holidays. We never had any issues with them. Even if there was ....it was not major issues to not use this company for our future holidays. We booked our holiday to Turkey in February and paid in full on the spot As we didn’t have any reason to doubt them. We were supposed to Leave to Turkey... on 3rd of October. Then COVID-19 happened..and country went in to LOCK DOWN and I was Instructed by the GOVERNMENT to SELF ISOLATE till End of August as I am on HIGH RISK CATEGORY. I am a diabetic patient who is insulin dependent 5 times a day (two type of insulin) and I have another rare condition where my immune system doesn’t function as it should and I on medication for this too. (I am mentioning my medical condition to make it aware how serious my health issues are). I was advised by my GP And hospital against travelling outside UK At this point. Due to these reasons we decided to POSTPONE our holiday to next year 2021. Same place, same hotel ,same month but may be dates could be moved around. The problem occurred here...as from 2nd of September...we have Been trying to contact Teletext Representatives...and they answer the phone if we want to book another holiday...but when we give our valid reason and try to POSTPONE the holiday (NOT CANCEL) they either cut the line or transfer the call to a different department ...where you have to hold the line for hours and nobody answer the phone. Eventually We were advised to write an email to Teletext COVID-19 help line Mentioning our issue. We wrote several emails to this email address (attaching ALL the letters Government wrote to me instruction me to self isolate as proof )After a month of emails with no response, TODAY 1 st October TELETEXT HOLIDAY DECIDED to acknowledge our email. What we want now is full refund of our holiday money as we have lost our TRUST IN THIS COMPANY. I would like to mention here something...by refunding our money in full in good faith rather than IGNORING OUR CALLS etc., Teletext would have gained a loyal customer. The refund money would have been used to book another holiday with them, when it’s safe to travel. And they would have got more business through us....in the future. But by been invasive and not Honest....you have lost YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMER (s) and future business. At this uncertain moment...there is competition everywhere....to stay afloat. If you are not honest and understanding there is always another Travel Agent ...who will offer this service. Quote: TT-BQ-1025688 Holiday booking ref: TT 783483

Worst customer service I have ever experienced ! I’ve spent a total of 15 hours on hold this week to try and amend my holiday booking and keep getting promised call backs ! Never booking with you again . TT802206

Just like the majority of customers on here we are still waiting for a refund since may , email after email and calls my flights also have been refunded to them but they claim they have not received them. How can a company be allowed to treat customers who have paid hard earned money to them and keep their cash ., who do we contact for help ?? And Holly and Richard dont leave me a message, disgusting disgraceful dishonest company ,,do not book a holiday with them.ref TT773220

We were due to go out in June, teletext cancelled our holiday in April and said we will receive a refund in July, then in August, then end of September but still no refund. I was just told this morning it now October, please be aware that I've recordings of our conversations showing that you are a bunch of LIARS. Be rest assured that I will NEVER book a holiday with you EVER again. VERY ANNOYING AND DISAPPOINTING! Ref:TT775944

Booked a holiday to go out in June but was cancelled. Told to expect a refund in July, then August, then September. I've called this morning for my money only to be told, it's not been processed until October. I've got recordings of these conversations which shows you are a bunch of liars. Be guaranteed that I shall help spread the word about your company to people not to do business with you and I will NEVER book a holiday with you EVER. VERY ANNOYING AND DISAPPOINTING! TT775944

Like many others have received extremely poor customer service from Teletext. Been fobbed off many times over the 3 months since the holiday was cancelled, still waiting for a refund. Was just on a call holding for 1hr, eventually got through to someone. When I mentioned refund I was put on hold again without notice then 5mins later cut off. What can I say.... holiday was cancelled in April 2020 by teletext told I would have to wait 90 days for a refund then told i would be refunded by the end of September still no refund £1428.89 still waiting. Its pointless phoning as you cant through very angry and disappointed in the way i have been treated
