Zero stars. Arrived at our hotel to be informed that they had no room for us and sent us to a dreadful one instead. Informed Love holidays but their attitude was disgusting. Please do not use this agency, they really are scammers

I like to give an honest review. All started well, impressed with booking procedures and quick response when I contacted them regarding an issue. While away our hotel was being renovated and we were not told in advance. We were woken at 7.30am every morning and banging and drilling continued into the afternoon. I followed guidance - spoken to hotel reception twice, manager and then went on chat. I was advised to complain when we got back. Emailed when I got back with photos of works outside our room and elsewhere and was offered £90 refund - we had paid for two rooms and three of us had travelled. I was told there had been a pipe issue at the hotel and that I had not contacted LH whilst away as guidance required. I had sent a screenshot of the part of the chat as evidence of this. I then found out from a friend travelling with a different agent that they had been sent an email saying hotel was being renovated. I sent a copy of this email to LH stating that clearly there were renovations going on and that we had seen the Jet 2 reps there on the Thursday - interestingly the email was sent to customers on the Friday so they have been updating their customers. When I sent this new evidence, it was ignored. I put a comment in the app and this was also ignored. I resent the email this morning and commented in the chat again. I have very quickly received an email saying that they have achieved all they can in the matter. My post on the app has now also been closed. I was really impressed with LH and this is the first time using them, but to have my complaint just closed down without any further response to my email which states that I have followed protocol and when I have provided further evidence that work was going on that we were not told about is appalling. We booked this holiday so that we could relax and recharge - being woken at 7.30am and banging and drilling going on until 6.30pm is not acceptable. Neither is the response that I have received from LH with regard to the complaint that I was advised to make when I got home. It completely spoilt our holiday. I had initially been really impressed with LH and would have used them for future bookings but clearly once they have received your payment for the holiday, they are not interested in your experience while you are there and do not deal with complaints fairly looking at all of the facts. Such a disappointment. LH may have closed down my complaint but I am looking at ways that I can take this further as this is not good enough.

i'd give zero stars if i could. My husband unfortunately has terminal cancer so i cannot accompany my 14 yr old daughter and her friend and her mum on our planned trip to a friends wedding. All i wanted to do was change my name for my friends husbands name. how hard could it be?? really hard actually. i had to change the flights myself with the airlines involved which i paid £60 to do, then when i rang LH they said it will be another £290 for your new room now as the room you had originally is no longer available! How can it be available when im travelling but suddenly unavailable when my friends husband takes my place? She said we cancel the booking and rebook and so the system is saying theres no availability for your accomodation type. you'll need a different room for £290 more. I refused to pay and said leave it as it is and now it appears my hotel is no longer available! i cant get a word of sense out the chat bot and have been disconnected 20 times. To say this has made an already horrendous situation worse is the understatement of the century. i could cancel but my friend cant, she would lose her money. No mention of a resolution or a refund. im disgusted with LH, NEVER AGAIN!!

Review of Love Holiday Company I had a disappointing experience with Love Holiday Company when I spoke to their customer service team this morning, specifically with a representative named Lucey around 10:20am on April 14th, 2023. I was seeking advice for my first booking with the company, but unfortunately, Lucey's communication skills were extremely poor and almost argumentative. Instead of providing helpful guidance, Lucey's approach was confrontational and it left me feeling discouraged. As a first-time customer, this negative interaction has put me off from booking with Love Holiday Company, despite the prices being within my budget. It's evident that Lucey requires retraining in customer service to ensure that future customers do not have a similar experience. As a potential customer looking forward to a pleasant booking experience, I was disappointed by Lucey's attitude and lack of professionalism. It's crucial for customer service representatives to communicate effectively, provide accurate information, and offer solutions in a respectful manner. Sadly, my encounter with Lucey fell short of these expectations. I hope Love Holiday Company takes this feedback constructively and addresses the training needs of their customer service team, particularly Lucey, to prevent such negative interactions in the future. As a prospective customer, I had high hopes for my booking experience, but unfortunately, Lucey's poor communication skills have left me hesitant to book with Love Holiday Company.

This company is a scammer. Booked a half board basis package online. The confirmation came back room only basis. When I called in to correct it, it was my word against theirs. I had no option but to pay again for meals or be charged for cancellation fees. Rip-off company scamming you for money.

We paid 6000 euros for a holiday in Punta Cana, without insurance, without transfers and without any luggage!! We foundout only with a few days before the flight! Be careful guys!!! Stay away from this company!!

We arrived in Dubai at 11.50pm on 31st March. Our transfer, that we paid extra for (luxury car) didn’t plan to collect us until 5.40am on 1st April. Love Holidays had given them the WRONG flight number, we were waiting around at the airport for ages, wondering where our transfer was. Thankfully, another car company helped us out. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told we didn’t have a room until 3pm on 1st April. So we were expected to sit around, after already being awake for 25 hours, for 14 hours and wait for our room. Love Holidays hadn’t booked us a room on the night we arrived! It was a disgrace. So in order to get a room we had to pay £400 or wait 14 hours. So we paid the money. This company said they apologise for the inconvenience caused but they cannot offer any compensation for the stress caused and the mistakes that they made! They are terrible and have no customer service skills at all. Ruined our holiday! GOT ONE STAR AS NO ZERO

Do not use love holidays under any circumstance ! You rather pay alittle more and go to a decent company. I have had nothing but problems with love holidays!! They ruined my whole holiday !!! From the time of the booking to the point of the holiday I contacted love holiday atleast 100 odd times at which 50% of the calls were unsucesful (disconnected) I was refused my basic right of logging a complaint on several occasions !!! I am currently in the process of contacting their regulators. Booking information information was incorrect so could not locate booking on app Spoke to multiple staff who all provided different and Incorrect information regarding the same question. Had multiple issues with resort from the first day of the holiday and was basically told by the hotel contact love holidays its not there problem. When I contact love holidays I was told speak to the hotel and the concern team will call me to see what they can do. I was promised on more than 3 occasions the concern team will reach out to me The imaginary concern team never called or contacted me in anyway. The transfer service never arrived and again love holidays was not available to help as it seems like they also have an imagery customer service number. Once you place a booking from a certain number you cannot contact love holidays from that number and the auto mated service is rubbish and frustrating. Anyone considering to use these guys .... look at the same deal on TRAVEL REPUBLIC or ON THE BEACH, you might have to pay like £20-£30 more but trust me for the stress and headache love holiday provided its a small price. Half the resort facilities where closed and hotel blamed love holidays and love holidays blamed hotel, at the end of the day it was me who lost out

Do not use Love Holidays! We have had so many problems trying to resolve our concerns regarding our upcoming trip to New York. This booking was meant to be a celebration of a special occasion, and it's turning into a nightmare. Their complete lack of ownership and limited access to speak to an advisor now that the booking has been made is appalling.

You took my money for a holiday including flights and hotel - 1st leg of flight cancelled by airline - loveholidays refused to book us an alternative being available. This happened 4 days before we were due to fly! Customer service don't exist - instead there is a ridiculous 'bot' that never understands your question provides ZERO help & thenends the chat. The only humans are in the Sales Team & they simply refuse to help. Scam artists- avoid at all cost! I have already advised 4 family membersto cancel upcoming holidays with these jokers & rebook with a company that actually cares! Sooner these jokers go bankrupt the better

Customer service falls extremely short, can't call them unless it's a new booking, only live chat when it works, complaints aren't handled at all appropriately, not sure they even read them, pretty much non existent in respect of in resort support. No comprehensive explanatory response, kept going back to the hotel when the hotel really wasn't the issue, it was love holidays itself, same person on chat who informed me to respond to a closed complaint said I've spoken to them and they're waiting for your response - bizarrely the same individual responded to me - who was he talking to...himself. I've never had an issue before & I'm surprised at the volume of negative reviews but I can't defend them on my recent experience..I've now notified the hotel that we've asked them to apologise to them and clarify ...I don't hold out much hope as again they completely ignored everything and again referred to the hotel, retaining returning customers I very much doubt it on this occasion, we've booked through a different agent this time funnily enough to go back to the same hotel, same place just not via love holidays...if I could have provided zero I would have.

Don’t book with this company.we paid a deposit just before padmic. Advised not to travel from Irish government.lost over 500 euro. They would not pay it back. They kept saying we cancelled under “NORMAL Circumstances “

The payments that were scheduled every month apparently couldn't be accessed by lov holidays even though enough cash in my bank account. They then said credit control would be in contact which has never happened. I then made a bank transfer to them which they have not been able to locate this payment after several screenshots sent as asked etc. I finally have been to my bank and supplied a faster payments ID code no response although promised to get back to me . The stress haPray they'll sort this if not s been outrageous as my sons girl friend coming from the States in 7ndays .An absolute disgrace. I may now have to pay 200 pounds which I don't owe to secure holiday.

Did not notify me of a flight change. Unable to fulfil booking with the hotel due to change. Spent 1.5 hours on chat but did not resolve the issue. When I requested a refund they abruptly refused and ended the chat with out answering my queries. Sent false info regarding t&c. I have screen shot the entire chat.

NEVER book anymore with Loveholidays! Never, I bought a holiday which price was on discount from 1550£ to 1003£! In the end they taked 1550£!!! 2nd day some my friend bought same holiday with 1111£ same flight and same hotel! Disgusting! No customer service at all! If you want to call them and you already had booked they are not responding to you, and tell you to go in manage the booking and to do all changes alone! In the end they said they can’t do anything with price and until now this holiday cost 1113£! Hate you company! I hope everyone will understand this ! You think just about money! The hotel is not charging for cancellations 5 day before, I was asked to you to cancel hotel and I’ll keep flights and to return money for hotel back! You don’t want to do this just because I bought this holiday all together! Hate hate hateeee you

I recently stayed at the Royal Lagoons Aqua Park Resort, booked through Love Holidays, and had a terrible experience. The hotel's response to my complaints and safety concerns was unsatisfactory and dismissive. The path to our accommodation was unfinished and unsafe, and my daughter fell and injured her knee. Despite reporting the incident, the hotel denied any knowledge and provided excuses instead of taking responsibility for the safety of their guests. Furthermore, the unsanitary conditions at the hotel led to sickness and diarrhoea during my stay, and the repetitive and unhealthy food served at the hotel made it necessary to eat outside, incurring additional costs. The lack of concern for guests' health and safety is unacceptable. In addition, there were several faults in my room, and although I reported them, nothing was done to resolve the issues. The hotel's response was inadequate, and their offer of a plate of fruit as an apology is unacceptable. Overall, I had a terrible experience at Royal Lagoons Aqua Park Resort and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of responsibility, concern for guests' safety and well-being, and inadequate response to complaints is unacceptable

We were sold "an upgrade" and paid for it too thinking the room will be much better. It's not been 24 hours since we paid our deposit and now being told the room only comes with 1 double bed for 4 of us. Kids have to use sofa bed..I paid 4k for my kids to sleep on the sofa? You cant call them after you've paid your deposit. Live chat says they are a third party agency so can only request 2 beds to be put in the room but no guarantee..wtf..we are already not looking forward to this ..absolutely shocking service..I would never recommend this company to anyone..stay away, save your hard earned money..why did they not mention the beds when selling the upgrade? Now they say they cant do anything? Absolute clowns running a circus..go elsewhere people the service is appaling

A horrendous company who shouldn't be trading. They changed dates of the booking making you pay more. I booked my birthday holiday with the Mrs on 19th till 23th February Loveholidays changed the dates too 19th till 23 November. They charged me £100 more to changed the dates and they yes they changed the flights but they didn't and have to additional £800 on flight. Horrendous scammers who deserve to be fined millions so customers can get their money back
