Terrible customer service. They don't help at all and I believe they get pleasure out of your misery. I have chatted, emailed and filed a complaint with the BBB because for some reason they keep canceling my orders after they have been placed and paid for. They said it is because my account is flagged as "fraud" and it is a security issue. WHAT?? This has happened to me at least twice in the past year and nobody will help me or tell me why it happens. When I email or chat they just say "sorry" and do absolutely nothing. As if they find it funny. Still have zero response. All I can do is cancel my card and stop spending my money there.

If I could give this a 0 star, I would. I bought this product on boxing day, it was 50% off. I received this product without a price tag. When I asked the chat why this item does not have the uggs tag on it, and if it's a returned product, they said that yes, They do resell products that are returned by other customers as sales items. I did not know Nordstrom, a luxury store, sells return items as sales item. So I received a refurbish product and that was why it was on sale. Isn't this something they should let consumers know about? They offered me a return. I asked them to send me what I ordered, but a new one, one that has the uggs tag attached to it so that I know it's a new product and they said I can reorder it after I return this one, but pay the new regular price (it is no longer 50% off). Nordstrom's customer service is disappointing, they offered no acceptable solution. So Hey! If you purchase a sales item from Nordstrom, just know it can be a product someone else has returned....without a tag. ENJOY your refurbish product!

I bought a pair of Ugg slippers from Nordstroms. They emailed me and asked me to review my purchase. I did a review and they emailed me to thank me for it but said their team decided it could not be posted. Ridiculous to say the least. No bad language. No defamation of any persons. Just bad quality compared to previous purchases of the same item. I guess if you can’t give them a good review they don’t want it so they reserve the right to refuse it?? Will buy elsewhere next time.

I returned Jeffrey Campbell shoes and reordered a different size, (women’s shoe department Fashion Valley store #360) on 12/27/2022. On 12/29/2022, I realized that I had tucked Christmas money gifts in 3 envelopes on the inside of the shoebox of the returned shoes. I called Nordstrom the morning of the 29th and spoke to a sales associate in the women’s shoe department, who checked for the shoes in the stockroom. He stated he saw the shoes, but nothing was in the box. Shortly thereafter I called Nordstrom’s lost and found department and spoke to a woman, (I won’t disclose her name). I explained what happened and she informed me that she would have to pass this on to the manager of the women’s shoe department. She took my number and asked for the Reg# 4353 and Tran# 4467. Sometime later that morning, I received a call back from the women’s shoe department manager, ( I won’t disclose her name). She readily stated, “yes I remember the shoes because I put new tissue paper in the box when they were put back in the stockroom,” “there was nothing in the box.” Yes, I realize other sales associates could have handled the returned shoes by this time. However, I found it odd that the manager did not ask me who did the initial return, that she so remembered. I volunteered the name of the sales associate who did the initial return and asked her to check with him. She said she would and rushed me off the phone with these words “good luck.” Although I know someone within the women’s shoe department claimed my Christmas money gifts in the returned shoe box, I will not get my money gift back. I take responsibility for the error of not checking the shoe box before returning the shoes. Honestly, I had forgotten that I stuck the envelopes on the side of the box. Just thought I would check, realizing some people are honest and some are not. Perhaps they needed my money gifts more than me!!!…anyway whoever found my Christmas money, enjoy!!!

The company uses a call center in Cent. Amer. with the rudest and most arrogant men reps. They actually laugh out loud if you are upset about an unresolved issue. No thank you to ordering from a company that puts social issues ahead of their customers!

Similar to other complaints, I ordered shoes for a xmas gift 3 wks ago and I keep tracking them and they never leave the post office 50 miles away. I call customer svc & they tell me they were rtnd. I am like I did not get them & then she says they were rtnd by the post office. I said they never even went to my post office. She says the store will ship them out today. Never got them after another 7 days. I ckd online & it says they were rtnd & I rcvd a refund, I did not. I called again & she insists they were rtnd again and refunded to me but she will put in another ticket to ask about the refund & sd I can't call back for 7 more days. If I still don't have a refund in 7 days, I can ask to talk to a mgr. This is ridiculous! In the meantime they are holding the shoes & the $120, like give me one or the other.

I would put zero stars if I could - for the service received with regards to an Olukai Nolu (grey) sandal purchased from Nordstrom.com. My item has not shipped (1 week plus later). There is a delay on my order (as described in my order updates) and it has not even left the facility. Because of this fact, I requested a simple size adjustment... to do this, my request needed to be escalated FOUR TIMES before getting a phone call... from a Customer Service rep to an Operations Manager. After several hours spent, they have come to NO resolution. "Wait to receive it, return it to us, then order again in the correct size... was their best advice. Once upon a time they would roll out the red carpet for their customers... knowing their customer retention showed a MUCH bigger ROI than one item purchase. A simple size swap was not an option, even when it hasn't yet left the facility, and even when escalated four times to someone you would believe has that authority. Customer Service at Nordstrom is just so simply not the same as it once was. I encourage you to purchase directly from the vendor. Save yourself the headache!!!

I ordered an expensive pair of sneakers for my niece. I was out of town for Thanksgiving and they show snip a picture of it being delivered. However, two days later I get home with no package. Contacted Nordstrom and they will not issue a refund. I have the person on my ring camera that it was taken. This is totally out of control with them. I will never shop or order anything from them again. They have the worst policy and procedures for handling lost items. I did not have it shipped to a store because I am disabled.

Was the victim of identity theft for thousands of dollars of Nordstrom gift cards. I contacted a number of people at Nordstrom customer care and gift card departments and got the run around. I learned that the cards were used in multiple states, and that the Nordstrom fraud department declined all of the transactions from the fraudsters. The cards are locked, but Nordstrom will not refund me for the charges resulting from the identity theft. Nordstrom kept the thousands of dollars resulting from the fraud and are useless in helping to rectify this issue. Nordstrom's secret is that they benefit from gift card fraud. I'll never shop here again, and neither should you. Customers have choices to do business with ethical companies. Nordstrom is not one of them.

Dear Kate Detoye, I truly hope that you can take actions that will resolve this issue for both of us. Nordstrom Rack was recommended to me by my pastor. I had received many good remarks about the cost and quality of your service and merchandise for years. I had good expectations and hopes about my initial experience with Nordstrom Stores. The verbal and psychological abuse that was inflicted on me by your two cashiers (Daijon A. and Jessica L.) at the Novi, MI location was extremely traumatic to me. I am an elderly American with disabilities that include major depression. The incident triggered an episode of depression which cause me to withdraw from normal activities, isolate myself from friends and family, and it increased my anxiety and fear. My psychiatrist increased the doses of my antidepressants. Psychological Elder Abuse takes place when an older person suffers harm through verbal assaults, threats, intimidation, humiliation, insults, yelling, verbal harassment, or treating an older person like a baby. It is also referred to as elder emotional abuse. Psychological abuse is the second most common form of elder abuse after neglect. It often consists of purposeful verbal or nonverbal infliction of emotional or mental anguish. Elder Abuse must not be tolerated by any person or department store. Especially where new customers expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We expect Nordstrom Rack to maintain an environment free of discrimination or harassment. In Michigan, there are state laws that make “vulnerable adult abuse” a crime, and someone can go to jail if they commit it. Studies indicate approximately 73,000 elder Michiganders are victims of abuse or neglect each year, according to the Michigan Attorney General's Office. Elder abuse is a real problem in the state of Michigan, according to Attorney General Dana Nessel. She and a coalition of more than 30 organizations announced the formation of a robust task force to crack down on the abuse, which can be physical, emotional, or financial. MICHIGAN ELDER ABUSE TASK FORCE Officials say this task force will focus on protecting Vulnerable Adults from undo caregiver influence. But will also increase maximum penalties for abuses. And develop Elder Abuse community investigation teams. Michigan AG Nessel stated that "We hear so often about the problems, but so infrequently do we actually, do anything to solve those problems." Kate, what your cashier associates did to me, your customer, was intolerable. Do take such measures that will prevent them from repeating this offense in the future. Please contact me for more information and questions. I would like to be informed of the outcome of this matter. Sincerely, R.B.

I ordered Ralph Lauren bedding….never arrived..I just got a run around…I had to place several calls to customer service… escalated the calls to a supervisor… never received the items… they told me that they would credit my account within TWO BILLING CYCLES… I had a zero balance on the Nordstrom card… so they expect me to pay interest on items that I never received..HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DONT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM NORDSTROM! Unbelievable…..Nordstrom has fallen like just about every other retailer in the USA. Stay away from NORDSTROM.

This time I mean it when I say I won’t shop at Nordstrom.com again. This time they REFUSED TO POST MY REVIEW OF A PAIR OF EARRINGS the size of which is not given on-line, but which appear generously sized on-line. After I received them I was shocked and disappointed to see that they are extremely small. In the review I asked why Nordstrom, a seasoned upscale retailer, doesn’t know yet that customers deserve to know the size of earrings before they buy them. I then added: DUH. I immediately got an e-mail from Nordstrom.com saying my review had been MODERATED. Oh my, poor little Nordstrom, I hurt their feelings. The e-mail suggested I re-write my review. So now not only was I having to spend time orchestrating a return, but I was also expected to re-write my review. And what would I have in return – nothing! Last time I returned shoes using the pre-paid label Nordstrom.com provided. I did not hear anything so I contacted them. They said they never got them. Then I got a long letter telling me they received the shoes but were returning them to me because they did not come from Nordstrom.com. Doesn’t this kind of customer service remind you of something you might see on Saturday Night Live?

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order anything from nordstrom.com it will create so much stress and a nightmare for you!!! I will never in my life order from Nordstrom’s again never never never ever what an absolute joke!!! I ordered a gift for a bridal shower it’s been almost 3 weeks and still waiting!! They claimed to have shipped the item the very next morning after my order was placed however that was all a sham they really only created the label and lied about actually shipping the item! Then they use the slowest and cheapest crappiest service provider either on track or FedEx which of course are both the worst shipping you could use in the USA!!! I waited for over a week (9days) just for the package to show up in their system and then it just sat there for days and days and days with no movement!!!!!!!!!! I contacted Nordstrom customer service multiple times to see what was going on and I just got the same answer every time your package will be delivered as soon as possible! LOL what a joke even the post office can deliver within two days anywhere across the United States so TRUST ME just don’t do it!! I order from eBay it shows up in two days I order from Amazon it shows every two days I order from target it shows up in two days I order from Nordstrom‘s and it shows up in over a month!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Stopped doing business with Nordstrom a few years ago as their customer service dropped to levels lower than Walmart. Bought about $3,000 in clothes over the last month and have experienced even worse service than the last time I was a regular customer. Trying to simply have alterations done on three suits, a blazer and dress shirt bought there, they make customers jump through hoops JUST to receive a Nordstrom Note, NOT refund for advanced paid alterations on their items. Other higher-end retailers do not make customers go through egregious processes to have items tailored. I've spoken with THREE different levels of "customer service", and the only consistent theme are the words " I am so sorry, there's nothing I can do, you'll have to call...". I am officially permanently done with Nordstrom. Their policies have gotten in the way of accomplishing any form of common sense service. They may be to busy focusing on social justice and other non-sense instead of just selling clothes. Far better options, consider Neiman Marcus, Von Maur and the like. Bye Nordy.

I attempted twice to purchase an item during the anniversary sale. Both times it disappeared from my bag during checkout and then was out of stock. The item never came back in stock (for weeks) until after the end of the sale; at which time Nordstroms refused to give it to me at the sale price. I believe that they hold popular items until after the sale, rather than restocking them during the sale, so they can charge full price for them. They used to be a great store with excellent customer service but that no longer rings true. Now they seem to be concerned only with their top tier clients, allowing them to shop before everyone else, and giving them other special perks. I can't help but note the hypocrisy coming from a company that attempts to portray itself as being all about equity and inclusion! I find myself more and more often looking for other places to shop. I hear similar comments from others and wonder if this is why they have had to close so many of their stores. I am so disappointed with the entire way their sale is now run that I will be returning everything I bought!

Not sure why Nordstrom now uses CDL as a delivery service but they are simply HORRIBLE. Still waiting to get a hold of my package which was ordered almost 2 weeks ago. They are bound to lose customers using this horrible company to deliver packages.

The Nordy Club is the loyalty club from hell! When returning a shirt my husband bought online, we were directed to sign up with TNC. The return went well, but now we’re getting Nordstrom promotional emails WITH NO OPT OUT (“This is a required service message about your Nordy Club account. Please know you're unable to opt out of service messages. For assistance, please contact 1.888.246.8720.” I tried logging in to cancel my Nordy Club account but learned on Chat that I had to call. The phone menu is set up only for issues related to purchases or a Nordstrom credit card. After a lot of frustration and some subterfuge, I managed to reach a very nice human being who, after reading us lots of boilerplate, said she had succeeded in unsubscribing us from emails and text messages. We’ll see.
