Vodafone couldn't even tell Carphone Warehouse the correct additions to their packages, I was promised free Spotify, however, Vodafone told me this wasn't the case, regardless of what Carphone Warehouse had been informed by them so I quickly cancelled my contract with them within a week (well within the 2 week cooling off period). They went on to tell me I owed them £3 for long text messages I'd sent, (i don't recall sending these messages but didn't think much about £3) I then, months down the line, received an email telling I owed them £33 or they would take action, on the sam I'd received a letter from the debt collectors as they'd advised them to send me a letter. I phoned Vodafone up and felt very pressured to pay the £33. They told me I hadn't cancelled until mid April, which was completely incorrect. Therefor, I had to pay for nearly a months worth of the contract which I used for only a week.

I have been a customer of Vodafone last 3 or more years. I have recently placed an order and have upgraded my two lines. As I had to return one of the phones and needed to replace it with something else, all my account was messed up. Jut because of return department diddn't accepted door to door exchange, other line upgrade was also deleted and waisted one whole week to sort out and re-order the phones. As existing deal was given to me at the rate i was pleased and due to the mistake Vodafone customer services did, I was not offered the same deal once all it was cleared and tried to do my upgrade again. I have spent nearly 6 hours on the phone tried to resolve this issue and each time I called after explaining the matter, waiting on hold for minutes, times where lines were disconnected, and did not receive a call back, obviously had to call back and re-explain the entire problem to new advisor, kept waiting backward and forward hours, nothing was clear and could not get the upgrade sorted as well as the offer Loyalty team given were taking away offered some other products more expensive. AI had asked, i should be compensated due to the hassle i was involved with but the answer was no and couldnt get anything out of all. More then all, Vodafone is restricting the way they are working and not able to save you any money, if you try to extend your contract renew or upgrade. All you will be doing paying. I was charged out of data when the switch was made in between upgrade and disconnected my line, removed my data and left me in the middle of country site with no internet. I was charged £10 for adding extra data and £6.50 for using out of data plan which was 200MB of internet as I didnt realise I was out of data. Then they didnt refund any of these, where I previously owed £26 pound refund due to another refund 6 months ago and so on....... Originally, did like the idea being able to use my package in europe and calls to UK when travelling, however more or less all other networks are offering similar deals with better customer services. Not highly recommended...

I water damaged my iPhoneX and my insurance ansked me for proof of usage from Vodafone.I asked for a proof of usage to Vodafone it took me 1 month of calling them and going in their stores everyday and making me go around in circles I had to speak to the manager twice to get a simple email they have the worst costumer service they always say that they are not able to do it in store and they say to call the costumer service and when you call the costumer service they tell you to go in store. These people don’t know what they are doing. When my monthly plan finishes I’m changing carrier

You go to a store for help as your phone is alarming you that your battery temp is to low to charge so the person downloads an app on your phone thinking that will fix it uses the little battery I had then the phone dies and the next day he tries to put it on charge and nothing. Then tells me that it is water damaged. No moisture visialbly on phone or any where else just guessed as did not know his job then because I said it has been no where water, steam, rain he was very rude because I told him was going to cancel my contract. E.mailed head office they were just the same said my fault as I had to send it off for diagonistics test. They would not tell me it was the battery failure. They decided to say it was slight water damage could be to a number of reasons, weather, temp change but does not take effect straight away. Not My Fault but because they will not admit it was just the phone at fault they blamed me so warranty null & void. Offered me £25.00 off my bill for the staff in the store for being rude to me. So nice of them. So now have to buy a new phone not from voda though. NEVER WILL I GO WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

My brother wanted to swap numbers to a 3 SIM and he needed a Pac code to do that and he needs to pay money until March which he did he decided to change numbers anyway and he stopped using the Vodafone SIM without me realising he now owes Vodafone money constant messages from ardent literally threating me over the phone when I didn't know anything about it since it's in his account but they said that if he doesn't pay it will keep going up and I will get bad credit and bailiffs Vodafone does not care about their customers and are such a joke

Vodafone took an order for a SIM but made a mistake and set up two SIMs. The result was that one SIM wasn’t paid for. It appeared I had defaulted and this screwed up my credit rating which I haven’t been able to resolve yet (I’m a 57 year old and run a business and have never had any debt so it’s a real problem as I’m now being rejected for insurance quotations, etc). Vodafone insisted it had done nothing wrong. Wouldn’t sort it out and I had to go to the Ombudsman. Roll the clock forward six months and about 60 hours of my time. The Ombudsman told Vodafone to pay me £100 compensation, apologise and contact me to resolve the issue. Vodafone has finally admitted it made the mistake and set up two SIMs. The £100 doesn’t even cover the cost of lost phone service let alone my time. The apology in the letter consisted of the line “I am very sorry that your recent experience led you to contact the Ombudsman”.... that’s it! They didn’t try to contact me and, having spent another half an hours trying to contact them on the phone (can’t pass security as I don’t have an account any more), I’ve been told to “go into a Vodafone shop with photo ID, prove who I am then call Customer Services.” When a company screws up, you would expect them to do whatever is reasonable to fix things. Not Vodafone, they don’t give a flying **** and companies who forget about customer service usually fail.

Oh my word this has got to be the worst company for mobile. I tried to order a SIM card on their website and I've never had so much trouble to get a SIM in all my life. Literally it's like drawing blood out of a bat it's that bad. First they said I could collect the SIM at their Wimbledon store which I went to collect after a 40 minute train journey, only to be told that no they don't do the same deals as their website by some agitated bloke with tattoos! He refused to help me and started going on about not price matching...Eventually I gave up and went back home to try and get this SIM delivered to my house. What a joke that turned out to be. First they wouldn't let me order because I've already got broadband with them and they can't allow me to have a mobile contract because of needing another credit check! Eventually an online advisor supposedly 'helped' me get around this by asking me to create a new profile and do a separate credit check on that. The online shop also wouldn't process the order and they had to help me 'push' the order through. Eventually I got what I thought was an order number. It had all the information on it and an order number attached however I didn't receive anything via email and thought to check up on it the next day. I spent over 2 hrs dealing with an advisor and they couldn't locate the order! Unbelievable. I'm now on the phone with another sales person after 48 hrs of hell and am waiting to see if I can actually get a SIM card from this joke of a company.

Today I went in to the store in the metrocentre to begin my own contract. I spoke to someone called Dave who was amazing with helping me and I had some issue with starting it due to previously applying on a different website online for a contract but Dave was absolutely brilliant at sorting me out especially considering I go on holiday tomorrow. I would 100% recommend Vodafone and in particularly this store as the help I received from Dave was amazing!!

Last week whilst purchasing a new phone within my local Vodafone shop I was also offered a £14.50 SIM only Pay Monthly deal which I thought at the time might be better for my needs in relation to Data and internet use. . However, having considered the options I decided that during the 30 day cooling off period I would like to change back to a Pay As You Go customer. To do this, I contacted their Customer Service Team and this was where my journey really began. I was passed around different teams, I was cut off and phoned back but this time I got t to speak to a very nice man in Egypt who totally understood what was needed and phoned me back on Sunday morning and then passed my call back through to someone in a team in the UK. All I wanted to do was to revert back to being a Pay as You Go customer and to use the credit of approximately £10.91 which I had already built up previously together with my Big Value Bundle which I had on the Thursday morning. . After speaking to six different representatives within different teams at Vodafone. I was assured that my request would be dealt with. However, I was not advised that I would potentially lose both Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go services.. !! This afternoon Vodafone took it upon themselves to remove my internet and phone service completely That includes being able to make outgoing emergency 999 phone calls. Also people cannot contact me on my phone as it will not accept incoming calls. . I had approximately £10.91 in credit on the Pay as You Go Scheme as well as a Big Value Bundle prior to the change to Pay Monthly. These benefits seemed to disappear into limbo with the change over to Pay Monthly. I cannot understand why theyhave removed all of the services and now my phone number is invalid!!. I would like to remain as a Vodafone customer but the way in which my request was dealt with is atrocious.. When I tried to complain online I couldnt complete the action because the form had a field which required mobile phone number to be completed. An error message appeared advising that my mobile phone number was was invalid..Therefore I was unable to submit the complaint. So Vodafone seem to have also deleted my mobile phone number and dont even want to know about my complaint!! . I feel that this company is fraudulent, dishonest, there are too many customer service agents and teams dealing with this bit and that bit around the world and Vodafone are unable to deal with anything that is simple never mind something that is slightly complex. Up until now I have had no real issues with this company but would urge anyone using Vodafone to think very carefully about it...

Hello We’ve been emailing you for a month now! We’ve sent over Michelle’s medical records over several times. As the medical team said they would help with Michelle’s high bill due to her health condition and health bills. I really don’t believe this is right and frankly disgusting. We have already made 1 payment to you which we felt was ideal considering her situation. I believe you are taking advance of sick People and we have made bad complaints against you. We’ve also taken this to ombudsman. We’ve been treated so poorly and so rude by your staff even making Michelle cry! Kind regards

VODAPHONE ARE ROBBING FROM THEVTERMANALLY ILL. Your new advert states " if you are not happy you can leave" and yet they have made it impossible for me and my mam to end my dad's contract. Dad has alzhimers and has not used the phone in over a year, we kept paying till the contract was up, like we were told we HAD to do, (EE and Virgin both allow you to end contracts with no fees under special circumstances) So then we took in our Power of Attorney (the legal document showing we can do everything on behalf of my dad) to the Newcastle store, where the staff were clueless and kept contradicting what we had to do. "You can do this on the phone" " you have to do this in person" " we can't do this" "we need to deal with john" . . . So I asked for the manager, who was less helpfully, showed no compation, and pretty much accused us of faking the legal document "identity theft blah blah blah" "i could have made that" . My mam left the store in tears, I was furious, Suffice to say we still have the phone. We are now seeking legal advice and 3 family members have now switch to a different provider (monthly loss of £117) and all because vodaphone are determined to STEAL £12 off a man with Alzheimer's every month. I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE AVOID YOUR COMPANY.

Appalling charges with Vodaphone. I received a £215 bill for one month. I had only one warning during that time indicating my data was over. I found several cases of this on forums. I will no longer use Vodaphone. If you use it make sure you check that your phone is connected to your wifi and not accidentally pushed off or you will be bankrupted. This is the only way I can explain my data usage. Customer service was completely unsympathetic to this issue.

I first tried to use the online service, first it said I wasn't registered, then when I typed in all my details, it wouldn't accept them, as ...I was already registered. Then tried the online chat, Vodafone staff clearly don't employ typists with a good speed. Then asked them for a number to call a human being on. In total, I spent four and a half hours either on the phone or waiting to call them back. At the end of all that time, I still couldn't log on, or arrange a new contract, or get details of the previous contract. Call centre staff, apparently in India, had very poor pronunciation, and gabbled. Lost count of how many times I asked them to talk more slowly and more clearly. Total disaster.

Scamming company, ripping off their customers and not protecting your data. Was offered a deal, webchat froze, got back in touch straight away & they rescinded their offer. Rude ‘customer service’ agents but eventually the deal was honoured, only to be sent a faulty phone. After that I I was harassed with text messages after I had opted out of receiving any of their marketing texts, so a breach of PECR rules. Failure after failure made me want to leave Vodafone and as a parting gift they are charging me £1050. Never again for me and if you plan on switching to Vodafone, think again and read their reviews. Votes worst provider over the years. I didn’t look things up and I’m paying for it now so inform yourselves and AVOID AT ALL COST.

They will forget what they quoted you. Charge you twice as much, make you go over drawn. Not compensate you for over drawn charges. Not refund until many investigations completed. And even then they'll forget, not put in in your notes and do it all again. I will be cancelling my Contract as they have not upheld their part of the Contract. vodaphone is a terrible company and you will never be a valued customer no matter how much you spend, cus they just don't care. I will remove this review if vodaphone compensates me massively

I ORDERED BROADBAND FROM THEM ON 21ST MAY WHICH THEY PROMISED THAT MY SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATE ON ON 4TH OF JUNE AND I WILL RECEIVE ROUTER WITHIN WEEK AFTER PLACING AN ORDER. TODAY IS 6TH OF JUNE AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR ROUTER AND MY BROADBAND SERVICE ACTIVATED ON 4TH OF JUNE. THEIR BILL PAYMENT STARTED AND I SPOKE TO STAFF EVERYDAY FROM 2ND OF JUNE AND EVERYONE SAYING IT WILL COME NEXT DAY AND THEY WASTED WEEK. TODAY I SPOKE TO PAUL WHICH IS ENGLISH GUY AND HE DON'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. WHEN I ASKED HIM TO CAN I SPOKE TO YOUR SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER THEN HE CLEARLY REFUSED AND SAID TO ME THAT FIRST I HAVE TO TELL HIM REASON WHICH I ALREADY EXPLAINED HIM BEFORE REQUESTING TO SPEAK TO MANAGER. I THOUGHT FROM LAST WEEK I WAS SPEAKING EVERY DAY WITH STAFF AND THEY COULDN'T HELP, SO I WILL RAISE ISSUE TO THEIR SUPERIOR PEOPLE AND THEY CAN HELP ME OUT. BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH VODAFONE AND IT WILL BE MY FIRST AND LAST ORDER.
